Remember in europe (England) they didn't use pennies on US installations.

Decades later I found out it interchanged with some english currency and used like slugs in coin machines.

It's highly likely getting rid of the penny will actually increase US Govt losses.
No pennies, gotta have more nickels.
Except five-cent coins have a unit cost of 13.78 cents each.

Yes, Canada got rid of the penny. The result?
An economics student in Canada, which stopped minting one-cent coins in 2012, found in 2017 that rounding “imposes a tax of $3.27 million Canadian dollars from consumers to grocery stores on a yearly basis.

Thus...higher prices...

Eliminating the penny will result in a tax to the next nickel. Personally I don’t care about that as long as the money is used to pay down US debt.

I’d be ok with getting rid of the nickel also. Personally I hate change and never carry it. Taxing to the next dime I’d be fine with as well.

Nonetheless. This won’t lower prices.

We can call it - "The Art of the 'DEAL'!" ...

While ignoring the fact that other prices (as in those NOT affected by a disease outbreak, context is your friend) are in fact dropping. Thus the above post is indeed rated a loser.

Of course not. Using actual numbers would make it too easy to prove them wrong.

I don't blame Trump for the Bird Flu, but has that moron even talked about it or do we have to wait for President Musk to divulge how to get the price of eggs down?

I mean damn, I know changing the name of The Gulf of Mexico, obtaining Greenland and turning Gaza into Vegas is vital to lower inflation, but some people just want a nice reasonably priced breakfast with eggs to start their day or conclude a drunk night/early morning at Waffle House.

Yeah, funny how these same people who want a nice reasonably priced breakfast, haven't said jack about inflation for the past 4 years. Now all the sudden Trump, who has only been in office for less than a month, is supposed to wave his magic wand and inflation is supposed to disappear overnight. Lol.

In the real world they aren’t dropping. Including gas. They are remaining high or rising. I’m not sure whether you’re lying or just repeating something you heard on Trump TV.

What prices are dropping?
Care to give specific examples?

... So, in the "Real World" where grocery stores and
shoppes LOWER their prices and print adverts to show this
- YOU believe the stores are LYING - and that I'm also
a liar for pointing out the adverts and LOWER prices.

THAT is where you're at in this whole thing?? ...

... WINNING! ... ...

Yes. Clearly you’re lying. Prices are not down. The only person repeating that silliness is you, so that should tell you something.
