The Capitol was a shame anyone got killed or hurt. Congress has had an approval rating of less than 30% for how many decades now. Why do we always hear about "term limits" The whole fucking Congress are a bunch a worth ass holes. But once they get elected and make themselves rich you can't get rid of them. That was a Pandemic? I don't remember it being called a Pandemic, just a real bad Flu Season. I even took the Flu Shot that year because I had some travel plans to Chicago. Nobody practiced Social distancing or wore masks and 65 million people died of that Flu strain. Now a decade later in the world of Covid-19 we have mandatory lock downs, reduced capacity in businesses, Social Distancing and Mask mandates and even experimental vaccines and after a year of all expert advise we still have a half a million deaths, supposedly. Something is wrong with that picture.

I am sure the death count is different every year, but my point was why would only 65 million people die of a Flu Pandemic in 2009 with virtually no precautionary measures in place? A decade later a whopping half a million deaths were tallied with an array of precautions in place, that's a huge margin considering the numbers are true and accurate.

What would you expect Klein to say? And Obama left the emergency stockpile low. I think there was 7,000 ventilators. Now there around 150,000.
