Dam your misinformed! Biden totally mishandled the H1N1 virus. His current Chief or Staff has quoted multiple times they couldn't have done a worse job if they tried.
The Capitol was a shame anyone got killed or hurt. Congress has had an approval rating of less than 30% for how many decades now. Why do we always hear about "term limits" The whole fucking Congress are a bunch a worth ass holes. But once they get elected and make themselves rich you can't get rid of them. They deserve to be threaten and scared. Then maybe they would start doing their job.

That is a rather disingenuous statement...might I suggest you read this article for a much more nuanced analysis.

That was a Pandemic? I don't remember it being called a Pandemic, just a real bad Flu Season. I even took the Flu Shot that year because I had some travel plans to Chicago. Nobody practiced Social distancing or wore masks and 65 million people died of that Flu strain. Now a decade later in the world of Covid-19 we have mandatory lock downs, reduced capacity in businesses, Social Distancing and Mask mandates and even experimental vaccines and after a year of all expert advise we still have a half a million deaths, supposedly. Something is wrong with that picture.

Do you even read your own links? This from the link YOU provided! Now I may have to quit replying back to you. They think I'm being too mean to you!

On Thursday, Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf said the Scandinavian nation "failed" to save lives with its relatively relaxed approach to the coronavirus outbreak.

The monarch made the remarks as part of an annual TV review of the year with the royal family.

You damn right there is you are painting it with all different brushes! Do you think 65 million people a year die of the flu in the USA? Because that would be the comparison you tried with the 500k Covid deaths!

I am sure the death count is different every year, but my point was why would only 65 million people die of a Flu Pandemic in 2009 with virtually no precautionary measures in place? A decade later a whopping half a million deaths were tallied with an array of precautions in place, that's a huge margin considering the numbers are true and accurate.

I’ll go to Sweden, and hang with the Swedish bikini team. Sweden’s doing better than most European countries. The link said that also. You go to China, they have 10:1 male to female ratio. And remember, wear your mask!

Maybe you just don't like the facts, posted on liberal Yahoo News directly quoted from Bidens current Chief of Staff. What say you now about my "disingenuous statement"

https://news.yahoo.com/ron-klain-say...015941033.html

Ron Klain says Obama admin did 'every possible thing wrong' on H1N1

Biden's new chief of staff pick said it 'purely fortuity' that more people didn't die during 09 swine flu

Maybe if you looked for the truth you would find they knew 9 years in advance H1N1 was coming. Plenty of time to prepare. And 60 Million people in the US were infected vs. 27 million for covid. Thank God it wasn't as lethal as covid

ain now says his comments, which were made at a biosecurity summit, referred solely to the administration’s difficulties in producing enough of an H1N1 vaccine to meet public demand. The Obama team, he says, quickly adapted to the situation, making choices that were starkly different from those the Trump administration would make 11 years later, such as quickly distributing emergency equipment from the federal stockpile, deferring to public health experts and having them take the lead on messaging.

LOL. You completely missed my point but that is extremely common in this forum from you extreme right wing dudes who think Trump's stupid ass is a God. My point was not even complicated and quite simplistic IMO. Fuck Biden, I don't give a shit about him. I just give less of a shit about Trump like most others which is why that fuckup is no longer POTUS.

People can whine and cry all they want, but that jackass is gone for a reason. Deal with the facts and democracy or don't. I don't give a shit either way because that's your decision to make and not mine.

What would you expect Klein to say? And Obama left the emergency stockpile low. I think there was 7,000 ventilators. Now there around 150,000.

I expect him to explain the nuances to those like you who have attempted to take his words out of context.

To mean?

'Only' 65 million people die of the flu pandemic?'

Not sure where you got that number.

https://www.cdc.gov/flu/spotlights/p...-estimates.htm

A study published today in The Lancet Infectious Diseases Online Firstexternal icon provides the first global estimates of how many people died as a result of the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic. The study, co-authored by 9 members of the CDC Influenza Division, used an improved modeling approach which resulted in an estimated range of deaths from between 151,700 and 575,400 people who perished worldwide from 2009 H1N1 virus infection during the first year the virus circulated
