Your employer doesn't need a constitutional right to know your medical status. The constitution puts restrictions on GOVERNMENT, not on employers.

A company can make it a condition of your employment. You don't own that job, your employer does. If your employer wants to protect all of the other employees and customers from getting sick, they can certainly demand that you be vaccinated. After all, employers can legally do a background check on you and your constitutional right to privacy cannot prevent it.

In fact, as a matter of liability, companies may be required to take certain actions that government might not be able to take.

If you disagree, explain how schools can refuse to let unvaccinated children attend classes. We just went through this last year in CA due to a measles outbreak.

Dude, let's say you have a slip and fall accident in a store and file a claim and it is not settled with the insurance company. Then you hire a lawyer and he or she files a lawsuit. What the fuck do you think the 1st thing the defense attorney is going to ask for? I'll give you the answer - your medical history to see whether there are any preexisting conditions regarding your injury claim. If you refuse to provide that information, your lawsuit will be dismissed when that defense attorney files for summary judgement.

My point is that there is a slippery slope about having to disclose your medical history when necessary to do so. And Vivek Murthy hasn't proposed ANYTHING that is not already being done by Trump. He is just like Biden in that regard. They say vague things like "we're going to follow the science!", but they never give a concrete answer as to what that means.

They will not say stupid shit like "it's all a hoax", and "it will just go away", and "stop testing". No sir they will handle this thing like adults.

Biden's team just jabbers about more testing and more contact tracing without saying where they are going to get all the personnel and equipment to do that. And they have NO explanation as to how they are going to contact trace the NY city subway system and transit buses.

They are going to put more money and resources into providing more testing genius. Unlike Trump who did everything he could to halt the testing, ignored CDC protocal, and just flat out made shit up

They made some moronic statement about having targeted lockdowns in certain zip codes that are identified as hotspots. They apparently don't realize that a zip code in NYC might by 10x10 city blocks. NYC isn't like west Texas where a single zip code may cover hundreds of square miles.

The lockdowns have proven to be effective, someone should tell Gov. Abbott that. That is why Texas is now a "hot spot"

What are they going to do with an identified hotspot? Tell all the Orthodox Jews in a hotspot to stay home? Shut all restaurants in a hotspot - which only makes people go a quarter mile over to the next Zip code?

The reason for their vagueness is that they have no actual solutions that pass constitutional muster - no one does.
