I'm old, but new to these kind of boards.

Besides, Bush is in the past. It really doesn't matter if he was an idiot, which he was, what matters now is now. And President Obama is in charge, and making a bad situation worse. But I don't know what choice he has, I think the same people who pulled Bush's strings are pulling his too. And they will be pulling President Perry's. too.

If you think parties make a difference, then it is you who is swallowing the kool aid and party line. Fact is, when the Republicans say the Democrats are evil and trying to destroy the country, they are right. And when the Democrats say the Republicans are evil and trying to destroy the country, they are right, too.

What am I in favor of? Flowers, children, good books, and, oh, yeah. Non-violent revolution and the restoration of a Jeffersonian Republic based on the Constitution within the borders of the United States. Civil, peaceful disobedience.

Either that, or free nachos and beer for everyone!

COG you freakin crack me up by the way I agree with most of what you have written here.

Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding... I think we have an admission. If you were not John Galt, you would not be the target so it would not matter to you. Considering it a threat means you are John Galt, not that we didn't already know this.

I guess you didn't read it very well. Next time I will do it in remediated English so you can understand.

I was about to sign off when it occurred that this is a good example. I could have made simple, non-insulting response but you would have responded as you did to the previous post, with stupidity. So I respond with an insult. Why is it so hard to read what someone writes, only what they write, and not (this takes a action on your part) stupidly misinterpret what was written on purpose? I have to ask, who are you really trying to impress? The people here know who you are and what you think about things but only on the level of a pubescent boy. That is not supposed to be an insult, it is supposed to be an observation. I expect my students to improve over time, to grow into their abilities. I always save an assignment from the beginning of the year and give it back to them at the end so they can see the change. Sometimes change is good, if you know what the change is going to be.

So then I suppose you would read the bible and really like the part of how the Transformers came to earth and fought with Darth Vader for the love of Karen Allen. The Jesus hopped up on his Harley and beat Vin Diesel in a trans-Mesopotamia road rally. I understand if the drugs are good then you can see anything in a story that you want. The rest of us live in reality where colors don't make noise and sounds are somethng we hear and not see.
