While you all were pre-celebrating the "Clinton Landslide," you were ignoring what the "man-in-the-street" was saying about the upcoming electionS.

Here it is in the "nutshell".... as a paraphrase of what THEY were saying ... "We don't expect him to get it all done in four years, but we do expect him to begin the work of getting it done."

He's beginning "the work of getting it done" and then some.

In other words, he's meeting their expectations, and then some.

Meeting whose expectations?

When you type "you all," you would do well to specify whom you're addressing. I'm conservative and about the furthest thing from a hildebeest supporter.

You're living in a bubble of denial if you seriously believe that Trump is effectively "beginning the work of getting it done."

Do you see any evidence that he's begun significantly moving the ball on Obamacare repeal & replacement, tax cuts (or tax reform), financial system reform, or regulatory overhaul?

Neither do I. He's bogged down in the swamp.

Two FACTS! One is: He's less than 4 months into his FIRST four year term. Two is: Given the FACT that the Anti/Never Trumpers (irrespective of party affiliation or self-proclaimed political philosophy) have proclaimed that HillariousNoMore was "WINNING" the election up until October 28, 2016, when Comey opened his mouth the 2nd time, which means that "predicting" the outcome of NUMEROUS elections a year and a half away (or almost 550 days!) is a flawed assessment just like the last one the polsters made...and were wrong!

The FACT three is no one said he had to make "significant" headway, ............ and I didn't say that either.

That was YOU "raising the bar" to demonstrate he's failing. He's not! Piss you off?

Speculative question: Do you believe those who voted for Trump are not observing the obstructionist behavior of the "Loyal Opposition"? They (the anti-never trumpers just made another "announcement" of obstructionism as far as blocking nominations to the lower court benches.

It's taken decades (if not 100's of years) to fill the "swamp," and I for one am a patient person when it comes to cleaning up messes left behind. There is a huge mess on "Aisle DC"!

Apparently you share the media's assessment of the Man.

Piss me off? Not at all. Disappoint, maybe.

Look, LexusLover, I'm on your side in most of these discussions. I want to stop the relentless lurch to the left that so many in today's Democratic Party seek.

It's just that Trump is going to need to find a way to turn it around and quit handing the opposition rope with which they will be eager to hang him.

The media and liberals (sorry for the redundancy) smell blood in the water and intend to play for keeps. If Trump is going to have a shot at getting through this with a reasonably strong political hand to play, he's going to have to get a lot smarter about governing and quit committing continual unforced errors.

A flaw in their "assumption" is they believe the blood they smell is Trump's. It's their own. Look at the "rejoicing" in this forum!

Look at the media reports one year ago. Same melody. Same verse.

They were already predicting the landslide.

I live in "bubble"?

"You're living in a bubble of denial if you seriously believe that Trump is effectively "beginning the work of getting it done.""

As we post he has not been able to get all of his administrative appointments in place. Now the "Loyal Opposition" is "strategizing" to "blue slip" judicial appointments in the lower Federal courts to further DELAY JUSTICE, most of who are their constituents who are seeking redress for their alleged "injustices" as minorities or poor folks trying to recover a windfall from a deep pocket! They are depriving their "supporters" from "speedy trials"!

They are Pre-Celebrating his demise?

Ownership of the only blood in the water that really matters will be determined by voters in the court of public opinion, not by you or me. Although the picture for Trump looks pretty dark at this time, he should have plenty of opportunity to right the ship and get the agenda back on track.

As always, it pretty much depends on how the economy, including health care availability and costs, looks to the electorate when election day rolls around.

Rejoicing?
Do you mean like your signature still rejoices? Or do you mean rejoicing like you that it is your candidate that has made a joke of our situation? Who is destroying our credibility in the eyes of the nations that were intel allies of ours?
Make no mistake about whose blood is in the water. Drop your bullshit about which candidate was worse. Trump is president.
Clinton doesn't figure in. Current events are about trump.
He fired the FBI director. He admitted it was not for actions towards Clinton on TV. That is confirmed by a memo. Trump has tried to run with the despots. He's not even good at that.Even though ex-chia pet asks for explanations and then doesn't respond (and will go off on a tangent after this post) I agree with him in that you are a fanatic who has lost touch with the real world.

At this point "trumping out" is now a metaphor for your behavior.
Think about this tonight at your 7-11 night shift job.

If you choose to kill yourself we will understand.
We will remember you as a total douche-bag who finally came to his senses and against all odds, finally did the right thing.

I think you restated my point. Four months into a four year term is nothing .... and the "voters" are smart enough to figure out when everything he promised isn't getting done.

The media/Liberals have deceived themselves into believing the "deplorables" are stupid .... but Gruber wasn't laughing at the "deplorables" (who already knew Obaminable Care wasn't going to work), Gruber was laughing at the media/Liberals who still think it's working!!!

A clarification. I used the word "rejoicing" because you did. I should have said "vindication". Something you will seek forever but will never attain.

Because you are a pompous ass, a lifelong condescending prick, and totally unworthy of vindication, redemption, or undoing the addadicktome you get daily.

Did I leave anything out?

One of the mistakes the Socialist/Progressive/Liberal/Democrats are making is all of the applause they are hearing is from the same group of people that was planning what position they would be holding in the Hillary Clinton Administration.

President Trump has been playing them like a cheap fiddle for over a year now, and he will continue to do so. Everything they come up with falls flat. At the moment, it's "the Russians", or "Comey", or "Flynn". They are looking for crimes. For months they have been searching, and so far, the only crimes that anybody can find are the illegal leaking of documents, and the unmasking of US citizens inadvertently caught up in conversations with people under surveillance. These crimes in all likelihood were perpetrated by Democrats.

The Democrats and the Main Stream Media have been firing both barrels at President Trump ever since he won the nomination. They continue to miss.

The Voters will, sooner or later, take their shells away.
