this kid won't get a dime. it's a ploy tactic hoping that the media "pressure" will force the school district to settle to make this go away. they should not. this story got press on the local news last night and several lawyers stated in their expert opinions this lawsuit has ZERO chance to win in court.

this kid didn't really make a clock anyway, he simply took one apart. anyone can do that.
if you look at the end result, it does look like a timing device .. for a bomb. and the way he "packaged" it makes it even more suspect. the school is in a no-win scenario, student safety is one of their prime responsibilities (education is the primary) yet if they ignored this device and it had turned out to be a bomb can you imagine the shitstorm over that?
