I did this back in Dec 2012, when I had barely been in the biz for a year. A client claimed he loved me and wanted to have a future, wanted to get married someday, and said he would take care of me, didn't want me to work. I was skeptical, but I let him convince me, and even convince me that I was in love too. It was very awkward when my ex-clients would call or email me, and a couple even stopped by my apartment when they couldn't get hold of me to make sure I was ok or to give me a Christmas gift.
So he got a divorce, we got a house and moved out of my apartment, changed my number,(I've since changed it back to my original number), {but I still got frequent emails on my provider account, even though I had disabled my ads}
But in the back of my mind, I was always thinking, "this is a man who cheated on his wife with numerous providers so why wouldn't he cheat on me if we get married".
And frankly, I missed providing. I would read ECCIE every so often and wistfully remember the nice, fun men I met.
And of course, the passion faded, we decided not to get married anytime soon, I started feeling like a live in housekeeper/maid, and I missed feeling sexy and getting validation on that from other men. I enjoyed that part of providing!
Broke up in Feb, and I got right back into as soon as I got an incall. So obviously, we were not right for each other if I got bored in those 14 1/2 months of monagomy, and just wondered if would always think of me as an escort. I think I was naïve expecting that we would get married and live happily ever after. If I had read more forums like this one, I don't think I would have done it.
