I'm thinking you been around these parts before...you seem to know all of the ins & outs..so you're either a very very quick study..or you have been reincarnated with a new handle..

HOWEVER...I could be wrong considering the handle you chose..

I mean...REALLY?...dawgcatcher.. .?

Keselowski is a home boy from near Detroit Mi, but the best real true racers come from the Dirt Tracks in the USA, Stewart, Stenhouse, Larson, Bowyer, Kahne, Newman, D.Blaney and Gordon.
All of the above drivers remember where they started and they are involved in dirt racing 1 way or another, it cost Tony Stewart big time last August. Most all the NASCAR drivers give back to help others thru certain charities.

Looks like a great track and place to visit some day!

But I would need a personal guide I am sure..... Saw Jimmy's little brother drive at I 70 before it closed. Lots of dirt in Missouri and Kansas~

I totally agree... dirt track is where it's at. I'm from KC, and my uncle used to race late models back when they weren't ground up racers. I've been to Lakeside a couple of times and 81 speedway in Wichita is a great place to have fun.

The Air Capital shootout (5,000 to win sprints) is tonight... and I can't make it, no one wants to go, lol. too cold they say... it is Kansas I guess.

At any rate, the races are shorter, more intense I think, and there is always someone in the stands starting a fight with someone else (usually racer family) which is always fun to watch... lol.

If it doesn't get sideways in the corners... bah

vroom...

Is the capital track in Topeka? There was a drag strip there at one time....long ago!
Sideways is right on dirt track. Osage Beach had a simulation track you could drive for a small fee. First lap, I spun out completely - 270 degrees!~

Tony is using the Hendrick engines, he left HD so he did not have to drive the TOY cars! And his team is doing better I think. SInce he has to pay for them, he seems to wreck fewer of them!
Great thread. Thats for starting it~!
