They are 2-3 with Zeke, so I'm not sure his absence would be that big of an impact on this ailing team.

Elliott should fight the suspension for all its worth and then sue the fuck out of the NFL for damages ... if he innocent. The six games is just sex games but damage to reputation is difficult to restore. If he gets injured and has diminished skills the suspension makes his guaranteed money go away. This is more far reaching than six games, its his future.

It's his future AND so many others. The NFL should black list players who commit acts of domestic violence. They should also stand firmly behind players who are falsely accused.
I think Zeke's only crime was being young and trusting the wrong person. Many more will fall prey to this because of Goodell if the players don't say enough is enough.
Why is he still commissioner?

too bad grean missed a golden opportunity to predict a Giants win over Denver last night.. had he done that, I would initially have called him "Nuts", then come on here apologizing with egg on my face.

Well.. if it looks and smells like egg, but isn't egg-- a trip to the clinic should be in short order.

Ha!
I heard Von Miller tell a reporter that..."you have to be desperate for a win...." It was the required statement a team makes to say they aren't slacking when reporters ask if they are taking the upcoming game against a 0-5 team seriously.
I thought who could be more desperate than the Giants. I also thought the Broncos could rest their starters and win. I though also, Denver desperately doesn't want to be the team that makes the giants 1-5.
It became a princess bride I know you know I know that you Know that I Know scenario in my head.
I didn't know to go with the on Any given Sunday mentality or think the giants couldn't beat Denver High School let alone a Denver NFL team.
I will say, "Hey Katrina! Neener Neener! Denver goes down! " too bad the Cowboys aren't playing them again this season. Don't see Denver making it to playoffs.
Ha!
Don't see Denver making it to playoffs.
Looks like their QB, Semen, has come back down to earth a bit. That pick six....ha ha...they teach that read to Texas schoolboys during 7 on 7 drills. Pretty stoopid of him to miss that one.
The Pack may not make the playoffs either. Rodgers rare abilities covered up a whole lotta what ails their offense these days. If he's truly gone for the year Cheeseheads can pretty much hang this season up as DONE. That and the window is closing....only one Lombardi so far for one of the really impressively talented qb's of our time.
And the Pats....good lord, that defense is (still) a complete and utter mess. Can Brady and Crew really outscore everyone all the way to another crown? You'd think sooner or later that defense has to make a stand and win a game (oh, sure....they beat the j.e.t.s. yesterday....big whoop. "The Rules" bailed New England out and we all know it.)

Regarding the Pats, the Denver D held up their offense all the way through the SB. Granted, the next season sucked for them. I don't see why Brady, given that he is Brady, couldn't hold up the Pats D in a similar fashion. Love him or Hate him or anything in between, Brady can play ball.

Does anyone else need to refer their bookie to a psychiatrist for a prescription of prozac? He is playing. He is suspended. Now he plays.....
The emotional roller coaster is just crazy.

Yes, good question. And just as important, which O-line are we getting the rest of the way? The one that opened gaping holes for him last year.....or one that is currently firing on only 3 cylinders?
Not to beleaguer the point, but there's a reason Jonathan Cooper's washed out on three other teams prior to landing in Dallas (and he was drafted in 2013 for godsakes). I've watched him get pushed back into the backfield (on running plays especially) time and time again.
All Pro, Travis Frederick, also, has been manhandled numerous times this season (not to mention that awful holding call in the waning minutes of the Rams game that cost them that TD).
The offense isn't completely horrible though (other than the Denver game, the O is still scoring plenty of points to win most games)....but...
if Marinelli's defense can't start making the opposition punt more than a couple times per game (or start forcing some turnovers), these Cowboys are going no where this season.
I like Zeke and hope he has a lengthy, successful career (here but) I kinda wish Joey Bosa had slipped just one more spot in the draft (to Da Boys). That dude is a true difference maker and his presence on this D-line would be felt....and would've helped Dallas pass on DE Taco Charlton (this yr's first round selection "bust") and select OLB, TJ Watts or RB, Dalvin Cook. Woulda, coulda, shoulda....

I think if the O line gets it together, Morrison will be able to establish enough of a running game for us that the field will open up for Dak.
If that line showed up AND zeke did too, we are in the post season for sure.
