3 years 4 months is a rather drastic difference than 7 to 9 years isn't it?
what will the howler monkeys in the press make of this? will nancy pants be calling for another impeachment for "abuse of power"?
what will the howler monkeys in this forum say? yous think it is more appropriate than what the original recommendation was?
besides, Trump will wait till after his re-election and pardon him after about 2 years. close enough.

I heard that the judge is going to bring in the forewoman and put her on the stand to be questioned by the prosecutors and the defense. There is no question in my mind with the evidence I have heard that she at the very least did not answer truthfully the question as to whether she could render an unbiased decision when there is a mountain of evidence of her bias but hell, it didn't seem to matter against Strzok so who the hell knows with these people.
I wonder if there will be any talk of "collusion" since the judge handed out the very recommendation that Barr made, 36 to 40 months. Will that quiet the mobs talk of impeaching Barr when the judge took his advice and not the cry baby prosecutors who quit because they couldn't get their way who were also biased against Trump as we can all plainly see?

There is a very good chance IMHO, that the judge will order a new trial and guess who will have to OK that? Barr. He probably would because he said he thinks Stone should do time but I will bet the house that Stone never spends a day in jail on these charges. After some of the people Trump pardoned this week, he showed he isn't worried about re-election and would pardon Stone if a conviction ever stands this year.

Caved?????
Do you even know wtf you're talking about?
She decided to go ahead with sentencing....which is wtf we were talking about just now.
U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson said Stone’s crimes demanded a significant time behind bars, but she said the seven to nine years originally recommended by the Justice Department were excessive.

i hadn't head the judge was going to interview this jury foreskin .. er person lol. i did read the judge claimed there were no grounds. that's fine but it isn't up to her alone. any conviction can be appealed. malfeasance by a jury member is solid grounds and especially the foreman/woman. i think i also read that the defense did try to strike her but was overruled by the judge. if they tried to use one of the automatic strikes i wonder what the judge's reason to deny was? but each side only gets some many strikes to use.

The judge caved to pressure of an excessive sentence - and SomeOne is having a religious meltdown in a hooker forum!!! The judge is the same fascist DPST as the prosecutors who recommended 7-9 years - and would happily have imposed it - had not the publicity come up along with Ag Barr's disagreement.
LOL- lawdy Mercy - ftw done bin saved again!!!
LOL
BTW - Cory Booker done BE coming fo yo ass - for disrespectin' de religion!!!

She could give him life and he still isn't spending a day in prison.
Trump ain't letting his swamp rats spend no time in prison.
I'm surprised he hasn't pardoned Manafort. He might be hoping he croaks!
I know one person he ain't pardoning Michael Cohen. Muller hung that poor bastard out to dry!

The faux Religion from a Livertarian (sic) is as tiresome as 9500 and his robespierre memes.
Thank you - ftw!
Whether Stone spends a day in prison is not yet adjudicated - a request for a new trial is befoe the Judge.

3.4 years sounds reasonable as compared to 7-9 years.
obviously, bias plays a role here.
wonder if there room for reform way the prosecutors do their cases. I'm thinking there should be a seperate set of lawyers to handle the sentencing phase.
