Also the increased BBFS may be from older guys who have less to worry about. If you are 60 or 70, kids grown, house paid off, good nest egg, you are probably more inclined to take the risk.

Same here man took the wind from my sails for months it was miserable. All I did was go to work and try and stay awake and went home and went to sleep. Weekend consisted of one long nap.

Even if you sleep with someone who is currently infected, does not mean you will automatically receive that infection. I am not saying take the risk, obviously, only to shine some perspective

Too many people think independents are automatically safer. I saw an Indy for the 3rd time a few weeks ago. First two visits were great (and covered). Third visit I saw syringe/needles scattered everywhere. I did not stay. Maybe her diabetes was acting up. I don’t care. If I see shit like that I’m out of there. I still have a hard time thinking AMPs are risk free but I’ve seen far worse outside the AMPs unless I’m very selective.

Although I must admit I’ve had fun and I still have a couple of hotties on my list I’m inclined to agree with Aoi moving forward. In my opinion the really hot AMP providers are the most desirable and satisfying women and if only responsible hobbyist saw them I really don’t think there’s much risk as we have seen for many years now.
However there are some really sick fucks in this world that could and intentionally spoil the fun for everyone as the AMP allows practically anyone to walk in the front door. I know I sound like a real Debbie Downer but I kind of wish the AMPs did some sort of initial screening and then allowed uninhibited play time. Obviously there would still be risks but an initial screen/check could go a long way to protecting the women and us. No wonder the ladies get burned out. Now if there were an AMP fuck club I would be the first to sign up!

Funny this thread came up. I was just talking about this in the DON post in the houston private forum.

I start BB ladies about 10 years ago (might have fuck raw about 30-40 of them) and yes i have been to Dallas and left deposits with couple of the ladies. In 20+ years of hobby I have caught herpes from an open sore blow job (wasn't even genital) and Chlamydia, which almost end my marriage. I caught Chlamydia without even a full penetration, just pussy slide and a halfway insert.

Now i get tested twice a year and no more barebacking for me. I still do the BBBJ but BBFS is just too risky and I don't want to catch something again.

I am convinced the ladies must be taking antibotics weekly as there is no way they haven't caught anything barebacking 8-10 of you fuckers a day.

To each his own, but I can count the number of BBFS sessions I've had in Thailand on one hand in something like a 15 year period/30 visits/300 sessions. I have no issue with BBFS, but to my mind, a country which has poor delivery of basic health services/tropical climate/significant IV drug user problem, not using a condom is just asking for trouble. Feel almost the same way about China and PI for that matter too.

Jackpuck, thank you for the dose of reality. For every guy like you there’s probably 100 that simply don’t care if they pass it to partners or providers or they don’t understand the implications. The same could be said for the ladies with their livelihoods at stake. And then some evil fuck might infect others intentionally and that’s when our luck runs out.

The comments I have read are very interesting. Thanks for not oppressively flaming me or going too hard on me. Like I said originally, I really like this forum and find it very useful. It has been very informative in the past and I’m glad it exists. There is no right or wrong answer I suppose. I posed this question really out of curiosity after some introspection about my past activities and wondering why I did the things I did. Life is, in every aspect, is a risk I suppose. No avoiding it. I have loved physical intimacy for as long as I can remember, and it has always been an important part of my life. I know all of the MGTOW arguments, and in many ways understand them completely and think many of the reasons are valid. Why risk your financial resources, retirement, etc. for a woman who may never reciprocate affection, commitment, etc. Just fulfill your needs in an unattached way with no emotional or financial involvement. Anyway, I appreciate this website. It is informative and gives a lot of insight to the hobby and to what goes on inside of it…both from the hobbyist and the provider sides of view. Like I say, this is something I have in the past been involved with and have no regrets. I filled in holes (no pun intended) of happiness/needs at times when I really needed it. As my original post stated, I am just at odds as to why in this day and age both women and men take the risks inherently contained inside the hobby with respect to BBFS. Like someone said, for the older guys there is very much (or little) to lose, depending on your situation- but the flip side is there very much to lose if there was a significant other already in the picture. And of course, there is always the issue of health. As a matter of full disclosure - I am a single guy in his mid-50’s. Very interesting topic (at least to me!) guys and really enjoy this forum.
