Thx for the suggestions, I looked in to a short 2 night trip here but Volaris no longer flies direct from ATX it doesn't look like. They were getting a huge discount on the gate they used at ABIA for a while as it was the super long one at the far end of the terminal that now houses all the Delta gates and the Sky Club ( finally !! ) being built. So GDL direct now requires a ride to San Antonio to fly direct.

KC, You've had bad luck so far at the airport. I'm usually through it pretty fast, the only problem being if you're on American or United you often have to wait until everyone's gotten off the plane and then take a bus to the terminal. As you've noted, it's a nice city with some great restaurants, and everything is pretty cheap. If I were traveling to get laid, and I don't anymore, I'd go to Costa Rica, Panama or Colombia instead, because I think the women are hotter and the mongering scenes are better. Just my opinion, though. I used to like Guadalajara a lot, especially the strip bars. And for you with nonstops from San Antonio, it's got to be a lot easier to get to than most places.
