Constitutional Convention. the mood of the majority is with him.
How is he going to round up 11,500,000 people?
cattle cars and cattle prods.
How is he going to build a wall that runs from Texas to California and get Mexico to pay for it?
he'll repeal NAFTA and send them the bill. the loss of commerce will ruin an already poor nation. then he'll annex Mexico.
Trump is full of shit. He and the republicans are making a mockery of the entire presidential election process which is fucked up enough. We're the laughingstock of the civilized world....a man with a guinea pig pelt on his head who makes a habit of calling everybody who disagrees with him a "loser" is going to deal with Putin? And ISIS? And the rest of the world?
and Hillery isn't? that criminal bitchtard is making a mockery of the USA.
Unbelievable that you and the rest of his supporters have so little regard for the process and the country and the enormous amount of power that you would place in this braggart idiot's hands.
and nuclear weapons too. oh yeah!
At some point soon, the wheels will come off and the adults will start running the show for the republicans. Until then, it will be amusing....
|
who's wheels are coming off faster? Trump's or Hillery's?

Not impossible at all. A joint resolution from 2/3 of both the House and Senate is submitted to The Individule States. If the Legislatures in 3/4 of the States ratify, it becomes an Amendment.
The President plays no role in this Proccess.
The thing that scares the shit out of Democrats is no one State has more power in this Proccess over another. Alaska with not even a million people gets the same vote as California.
I won't get into the Constitutional Convention method, as it has never been done.
I am for repealing the part of the 14th that allows a woman to just get one foot onto US soil, shit out a kid, and then head for the nearest government assistance center to cash in on all the benefits owed to her new "citizen".
This can't possibly be what the Framers of the 14th had in mind.

maybe ur having trouble reading today, clearly stated "NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE".
the last amendment went into law in 1992 and ONLY took 202 years to become ratified. the previous amendment before this one came 21 earlier. . .so 2 amendments in the last 44 years, and those were not nearly as controversial as what ur proposing. Giving the divided govt we have today compared to then, yea ... its nearly impossible. but good luck boy.

Yeah. Next to impossible. We all know that. Doesn't mean we can't support their repeal. The 14th, 16th and 17th Amendments are disasters. They will not likely be repealed, but they should be.

Trump, and his snake oil medicine show has no comment on Asians who have a booking agency set up with nice condos in the USA for women to come have their baby's and go home with a citizen.

You say "not impossible at all" and then directly state the reasons that it is impossible, as a practical matter. You will never get the House and Senate to a 2/3 majority on the issue....shit, you can't get that majority on any issue these days much less one as divisive as this.
It's not going to happen and Trump knows it. Just red meat for the base.....

No they would not. That would be ExPost Facto.
https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/ex_post_facto
What it would do is correct this assinine policy for future generations.

Trump wants to take away citizenship, you think a little thing like ExPost Facto is going to stop him. He wants to detain people with no regard to their constitutional rights and you have no problem with that

Obama already has that authority! Read the NDAA. Obama can detain anyone for any reason at any time for as long as he wants with no right to due process. Why aren't you critical of Obama for that?

Right, but its not just Obama, its the President. . . GW Bush pushed the limits on executive powers when it came to the so called war on terrorism and Obama continued that path.
