Red Tex, I am not going to get in to your life or business management skills, but I for one treat those relationships as more than "customers". I value and appreciate a card on boss's day or father's day, and I believe my "secretary" hopefully values a lunch, gift card, or extra half day off on that "day". I think Kitty is on to something and an extra gift card to let them know how you apprecriate them....unless you don't...could mean a lot. I would vote to make it PAM.....Provider Appreciation Month....I believe in what goes around comes around, not doing things for others because they pay my bills. JMO

Wouldn't the world be a better place if there were more guys like you, Winendiner... actually there are plenty of chivalrous gents on Eccie, I am so glad to know. I had been so sad thinking that this site had just gone down the drain with negativity... it has not. I believe that positivity is and will turn the tide.
I wish I had time to elaborate further but I have to get ready for my Eastern Star brunch at the DCC, I'm also looking into taking golf lessons while I'm there. Then it's mani's and pedi's on Tuesdays and Thursdays... Lovely in Versace!
Ta-ta!
Oh Guys, why so serious? It's all in fun... after all, I do still have my trust fund!

Very true about customers, they are your life blood and it seems Red Tex treats them as they are a dime a dozen, but he may have misspoke. Unless you have a monopoly on the market in your field and everybody wants it, then you should never extend customers just simple courtesy or make them feel as if all they are is a paycheck.
But, this thread is not about that, however, if there is a provider appreciation day/week/month, there should also be a hobbyist one as well. And actually, I think that both those scenarios go on behind the scenes and a very majority of the time, unreported, at least on the open board.

Totally agree. Its is beyond imagination what a provider has to go thru emotionally. This cycle exists only among humans. Other species dont complicate life so much like creating set of Rules, impose on others and Bend the rules Above all we drag God into this and Congress is heavily involved in this game and they call it something else when others do it

Count me in David. I would be more than happy to include a Hobbyist Appreciation Day... Let's just decide on dates, those of us who are down... and stick to them...

Silvey you are so right... when I was new to eccie ... I needed everyone to like me and when the bullies and trolls came out and picked on me... I came close to going completely under. It just killed me to look bad, I tried to defend myself constantly... I was a complete emotional wreck. Combined with everything else it's a miracle that I survived, let alone made a comeback as a changed woman. These days, I try to not take anything personal, I strive to always do my best no matter what I'm doing, and I treat people how they want to be treated. I'm not perfect but I do keep on trying to get there.

No need for a Provider Appreciation Day. Every Day I see a provider, I appreciate them. I find it hard to meet women in the RW so I appreciate every moment i spend with a provider. For them to take the time out of their day to give me their undivided attention. With them, I can be myself and express myself. It feels Exhilarating to find that right provider that fulfills my needs. I appreciate them with my actions and my donations and they reciprocate. nuff said.

To play matchmaker here - I've thought this before but Kitty and David seem like they could be a good match, even possibly long-term.

Aww so considerate of you to think of our long term happiness eccie... I have given up on love though just a gold digger now... So lets just skip to the part where I am a rich bitch.
You know I am a blue blood aristocrat. I cannot linger with the masses its unseemly. Let them eat cake. Shopping spree is on at Barney's!

This is why rejection by a provider is such a letdown for me. It's like, all that work put in, the selection process, the narrowing down, the homework, the flirty PM's, it was all for nothing.
If I like you, ladies....I REALLY like you.
Just know that. Yeah.

Love this new attitude Kitty. When you just laugh with trolls it makes it no fun and they stop. You've got a good wit about you, hope you taking the trolling for what it is and it probably takes a lot of stress off life.
On topic, your initial post was very nice, guys tell providers how great they are while fucking but I'll bet for many it really is a lonely life.

It truly is Eccie. I spend the majority of my time alone... I think what I long for more than anything is a bond with someone... family, best friend, boyfriend...just someone to count on... to care about and be cared for. I don't think it's healthy to be by yourself so much. I just want someone to talk to, I want to be taken seriously.

I agree on the Appreciation Day to an extent. Like bobo1cg I show the provider respect and appreciation when I am with them and I also believe its a 2-way street and if you make the provider happy she will see to it you are happy as well and its her job to make you happy but it makes it easier for them to do their job if they know they are with someone who truly appreciates what they do and sacrifices they make to please us. Those providers that don't understand that don't last long as its a very competitive world in the hobby.
I always enjoyed Shep's socials when I could attend them as it gave me opportunity to meet ladies I have not seen yet and most of all gave the ladies a chance to meet guys before seeing them for a session which they normally do not have that opportunity. The problem with an appreciation day I assume we would set up place to meet and socialize one option which would mean a large crowd or the other is just declare a day and make sure you see and take care of your ATF that day. just my 2 cents for what its worth but you show them appreciation and they will return it in most cases

I don't agree with the provider appreciation day as I feel that payment is the appreciation. However, I do think the hobby is a man's ultimate dream incarnate. To be able to bang a beautiful chick without having to invest any real time (spending hours on the phone, shopping, meeting her fucked up family, attending bullshit events, etc.....) God bless the hobby and the hookers who participate!
