I don’t think that any married man is proud of his hobbying behavior. This statement is supported by the use of screen names as aliases. I also think that it is a given that we all fall short of having ideal behavior. Society can be very harsh about what it thinks is right or wrong.
I am guessing that the taboo around sexual behavior grew out of the linkage between having sex and creating a child.
I am married and I hobby. I am not proud of that but the benefits of enjoying sex overwhelms my shame of cheating. Cost benefit analysis yields that hobbying is best for me.
