By the way, there is now being criticism aired over the decision making and that there may have been some haste and complacency. And the criticism is not coming from arm-chair warriors, bloggers, or news pundits, but current "practitioners."

Regarding extracts vs inserts. I did not bring up the issue. My comments regarding such are in general and not concerning this Event the Thread is based on. Both are hazardous to one's health and general well being. I figured this out and went into the AirWing since I got tired of getting shot at.
We only have news reports as they come in and are modified. I expect and want productive criticism this event warrants it. Many parties are involved in this issue. Trust me many parties involved in the Op order are distancing themselves from this as quickly as they can. There are many questions to be asked about this event and who knows if they will ever be answered.
The Thread is "We must retaliate" and I think many of us (including myself) have gotten off subject.
My first Post in this Thread was the most pertinent one I made. I see no one target and ask what type of retaliation.
The Media keeps stressing this event for the Headline value since it was the largest KIA event in the Afghan Theater. It's losing it's Headline value for the Media as days go past. Is is a tragedy, absolutely, just as much as as the death of any member of our Armed Forces in this conflict.
Am I ticked off over this,YES!!!! Did it have to occur? That's the question. Again I'm off thread and I'm done.
