BiSex, do you bore yourself as much as you do the rest of us? Extending rights to the accused is "bad guy coddling" only in your fantasy universe.

Have you looked in your boring mirror lately. The image you will be seeing is a Jerry Fletcher clone named StupidOld LyingFart who is clearly in favor of coddling the bad guys and when they blow up a couple of heavily occupied buildings in Downtown NYC, he follows that up by bitching and moaning that the President did not do enough to stop the attack!
Put StupidOld LyingFart in the category of:
Bad Guy Coddler!
Next!

Does that provide you with a satisfactory level of entertainment?
I wasn't "behind" him when he came out of the gate late .. and I won't be "behind" him when he comes out early. There are too many heartbeats before 2016 and the Parties must survive the 2014 spectacle. Besides, your man, Obaminable, has a few more years to whittle away at his "extrarodinary" rating standings to help out the Democrats to set the stage for 2016.
You don't think he really gives a rat's ass (my apologies "rat") about 2016 do you?
As for "Rohm" ... he's a "mechanic," not a track jockey. The Carl Rove of the Dems.

There's hope.
To set the stage for the next 3 or so years, FYI I am looking out for someone who has character (good) and qualifications to steer this country in the "right" direction.
As far as the above is concerned, Hillary can't run a one-car funeral. Never has!
"Good character" sort of speaks for itself. Zero.
After having recently received a notification for a "high school reunion" for a graduating class so long ago it is curious how one can muster enough attendants ...
I am reminded of the choices of "most likely to succeed" from those days past ....
... when you select "Hillary" as your standard bearer for the Dems.
This country is at a critical and pivotal point in its history, internally and internationally, and a "popularity" contest won't get the job done ... IMHO.

Cruz will need a personality make-over in addition to a new place of birth. Shit-bird, nasty bomb-throwing ideological demagogues might play in the senate, the house or as a governor....at least for a while. Presidents, not so much.

I hope Gary Johnson runs again.

Gary Johnson will definitely run again. What else does he have to do?
I am amused that my OP asked who the Republican nominee would be......and the republican conservative crowd is so completely bereft of any feasible candidate that the only names that have come up are Rubio (maybe some day but not in 2016), Cruz (not eligible) and Gary Johnson (not electable). As usual, you idiots don't have a candidate, don't have any ideas and have no other agenda or plan other than hating on the Dems. The main topic of discussion, as it was 20 years ago....is to attack Hillary Clinton. Further evidence of the continued collapse of the Republican party.

Oh, I forgot about Dr. Carson. 7th Day Adventist. Creationist. Believes the earth was created 6,000 years ago. Good luck with that one.
But, he'll fit right in with the rest of the GOP squirrels who'll be in the running. Christ, what a sight that will be.....a contest where the objective is to take the most extreme position possible in order to satisfy the 10% of Americans who are foaming at the mouth, hating, god-fearing, red-meat republicans. I doubt it matters who the Dem nominee will be. The republicans will make such fools of themselves that even Joe Biden might have a chance. And Hillary will mop the floor.
FWIW, I predict Chris Christie. He's the guy the GOP should get behind. Even I kind of like him. He will attract independents. But, as one of the crazies here pointed out, by going to bat for his constituents and appearing to be aligned with President Obama in trying to get post-hurricane aid and comfort to the folks who elected him governor, he has betrayed the GOP and the Obama-haters. Bizarre.

I think everybody is overlooking the obvious. Gov Chris Christie of NJ is already being pushed to the front of the pack, his approval numbers are in the 80's as we speak.
I think the VP nominee will be either Jeb Bush or Bobby Jindahl. Both are very successful Governors, and have enough conservative bent to overcome Christie's socialally liberal views.
As for the Dems, it amazes me how so many of you seem to think that men such as Rahm Emanuel, Cuomo of New York, and yes, VP Joe Biden are just going to lay back and let Hillary have this. As has been noted here, they have a entire arsenal of ammunition to savage her in the Primaries, and they will do it. She has baggage that even Bill can't fix, and whether you like it or not, being a, condesending bitch who has a tendancy to lie when the truth would be better is no small matter
It will not be the Republicans showing pictures of dead Americans with the caption, "what does it matter".

Not sure how successful Jindal has been.... Check his approval rating in Louisiana lately. Not good.
Doubt Jeb would accept second fiddle billing. The reverse might be more likely. Jeb with top billing, Christie in waiting. I just don't know that Jeb wants the job and, the damage his brother did to the country won't have dissipated from the country's memory by 2016.

What's the matter Timmie? One post for every personality? As for Christie, who is pushing him to the front???? The media again. Just like McCain and Romney. Why doesn't the GOP do something different and let the people choose instead of ABC, NBC, MSNBC, and Karl Rove.
