I don't think it needs to be $15/hr but certainly higher than $7.25.

Kennedy cut taxes, Clinton said the era of big government is over. Those days are long gone. You don’t know your stuff.

With all due respect, I think you are living in a fantasy world if you think the Democrat Party is still the Party of Kennedy/Clinton.
Here's why. You have have a whole new voting block, millions of them, who are in the 18 to 30 year old age bracket. Multitudes of these new voters have lived a "Socialist Lifestyle" with mommy and daddy giving them just about everything. Multitudes still live at home. Many have educations in worthless degrees that will land a job that barely pays the rent.
The New Democrats, the likes of AOC, are promising them the same deal, just substituting the Democrat Party for mommy and daddy. They still don't have to lift a finger to do anything of substance. They Democrat Party will give them everything.
The Democrat Party won't nag them like mommy and daddy. "Get out of bed, clean this pig sty up, take a bath, put the Game Box controle down, get a job".
No, all the Democrat Party requires of them is they push that "D" on Election Day.

So now we hear from the RWWs that the Democrats aren’t the same party as Kennedy or Clinton, yet the Republicans are the party of Lincoln.
Figure it out boys.

Same principles. Trump is creating jobs and opportunities for AAs. Democrats want to keep them on welfare and on their plantation. All figured out.

That’s another of your lies, bambino.
How does the Democratic Party want to keep African Americans on welfare?
Explain which Democrats are plantation owners?
Your eyes are brown, buddy,

Your eyes are brown. Lowest AA unemployment rate in history. Raising wages. He also signed the Second Chance act. Clinton ended “welfare as we know it”. Obama brought it back. And what exactly did Obama do to help AAs other than give aways? Run along now.

But unemployment still went down and wages went up. More people with jobs in history. 3% annual GDP. The economy is great by any measure. Run along Lenny.

Very well said. This scares the shit out of me, seriously. Millennials are going to replace the baby boomers as the group of voters that controls the USA. It makes sense to look for an alternative, another country to move to, before that happens, if your economic and personal situation permits you to do that.
I wish adav8s28 were right, that people like John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton would lead the Democratic Party going forward. With all major Democratic presidential candidates signing onto the New Green Deal and with people like Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders gaining more and more traction, signs are not good.

Jackie, there may be a number of people who fall into this category that you have described. When you say millions of them, I think that is overstated. You're saying there are millions of people between the ages of 18 - 30 living at home unemployed. The unemployment rate is 3.5%. Under Obama it went from 10 - 5. If the unemployment rate is 3.5% then there aren't that many people collecting an unemployment check. The numbers don't synch up.
