I think there are some folks here who forget it was trump who launched a shit ton of missiles and tomahawks into Syria.
"On the morning of 7 April 2017, the United States launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles from the Mediterranean Sea into Syria, aimed at Shayrat Airbase controlled by the Syrian government."
The so-called anti-war negotiator who claims he is the best at making deals, didn't do one there, or with Iran, or with China, or with Russia. He's been running his mouth about how he didn't have any wars. Well, there has always been shit brewing in the middle east- and he had his hands in the pie just like every POTUS has.
Did Biden do anything more than Trump to incite war? Nah. Just took the gloves off of Ukraine and told them to fight with the tools they have been given. Russia can decide if they want to come after the US, but I'd say it's an even bigger incentive for them to settle the conflict vs. escalate it. Imagine what the outcome would be if you gave Ukraine some air fire-power, and something more than mortars, and short range missiles and mostly defensive firepower. We should have supported them flying some F16s and A10's to stop the advancing troops. How different is our saying to them to use the weapons we've given as you see fit, from Russia asking ANOTHER COUNTRY to aide in the efforts to overthrow a government that we recognize. How did North Korea get away with sending over troops without our raising rent on the whole fiasco?
The answer is in the atacms being used as Ukraine wishes. And totally should have been anticipated by ANY/ EVERY country who brings in another bully into a fight.

On the bright side, Putin has made it abundantly clear over the years that his only quarrels are with the corrupt Western oligarchs, and NOT the American People.
Putin knows what the Deep State are trying to do.
He knows if he can last until Trump returns, there will be peace.

Let’s be clear: Ukraine did not attack Russia with US ATACMS missiles yesterday.
* The ATACMS missile system requires periodic course correction and continual inflight monitoring, inputted by manual operators w/ US NAT SEC access codes. Does anyone think we are just giving these codes to UKR?
* The ATACMS uses geospatial and weather monitoring technology to self-regulate during its flight time, including minor flight-path alterations, orientation changes, altitude changes, etc. This requires the missile system to maintain a continuous uplink to US targeting systems, and NATO satellite-based guidance and recon systems.
* The ATACMS launch procedure requires the entry of classified US missile launch codes. Again, does anyone think the US is just going to give these codes to Ukrainian operators, in the middle of a war zone, w/ Russian military intelligence monitoring every byte of data in or out of the area?
Ukraine did not attack Russia last night.
The US did.

Yeah great solution. Everyone dies but that’s ok because you don’t personally give a fuck. I’m thinking there’s at least a few billion people who wouldn’t be down with that.

????????????? And Russia invading Ukraine unprovoked isn't? We need to defend our allies in Europe against Putin's aggression. He did it once with Crimea, we did nothing. Now he was emboldened to invade Ukraine again and it is going horribly for him. If a 'peace' agreement is made, Putin will just invade again in a few years.
Yall forgot that Ukraine gave up their nuclear arms to Russia after the USSR fell under the stipulation that Russia would defend them in the event of an attack from the west, right? But no, they took their nukes so they are no longer players on the international level.
But no, the uneducated American MAGA doesn't even remember what happened 15 years ago.

That's what the trump lovin' Putin apologists keep conveniently glossing over. None of this would be happening right now, and we wouldn't have sent so much money and weaponry to Ukraine over the last 2½ years, if it weren't for Putin's original act of war in February 2022. This is Putin's war of choice. Period.
Being in a cult is really fucking stupid and pathetic. And, in this case, it's also unAmerican.

You're focusing on the obvious red meat and not the rest. I find that telling AND delicious.
As for the red meat, you don't really care what anyone outside America thinks to be honest. We know it because you've said it. And even if people aren't ok with it that kinda ceases to matter.
They don't get a vote anyway. Amirite?

Crimea. He took it because he lost his puppet Yanukovych and didn't want to lose access to it. It was a linchpin to his Donbas reunification plans
Bam's not wrong that this starts earlier. He's just not trying to share the full story. Or discuss the Orange Revolution.
Smidge shocked he and J haven't brought up Nazis yet. They're usually elbow deep in it within the first 50 posts

And who started shit in Crimea? Putin. Same ol' war criminal that many trump lovin' Americans are defending today.
For at least the last 120 years, Americans have unanimously agreed that Russia is an adversary and an enemy of freedom and world peace. Then along comes the useful idiot trump.
Have I mentioned how stupid and pathetic it is to be in a cult?
