As far as I'm concerned, the Meet & Greet is already a success because it seems more people are talking to each other and that's really the whole point. And soon, we're going to put the first one together, let's get past Thanksgiving and I'll start putting things in motion.

The Meet & Greets are SOCIAL events often times conducted in a PUBLIC setting, not Business Events.

Conducting Business or becoming involved in Business Discussions is only asking for trouble.

This has been the cause of much trouble for many people in many locations in the past.

However, I will defer to the OP (Road Lizard) and his very capable assistant (Lily Kat Wood) on this matter.
