Even when I was in my 20s (long, long ago!), I realized that wouldn't work well. But in recent years, the nerd schtick might fare much better because of all the 20-something tech geeks cashing in beyond most people's wildest dreams of avarice after their innovative creation goes to its first IPO.

However, in my older years, I've had to try new pickup lines. I've found that it's best to let leaders from the early days of our nation do the speaking.

And it seems that young women of today are often very fond of history. Show them a few photos of Benjamin Franklin, and they cozy up to you quite warmly.
