Yes, I'm aware of that. How does Tiger's cheating make any difference? I think it is more a symptom of this:

Typical Whirly sleaze. You start a Sthread titled:
"TIGER AVOIDS DQ BECAUSE OF RACE ???
Maybe, maybe not....It wouldn't surprise me...."
But then claim no, you didn't say it was a race issue, did you?
Pathetic little boy.

Uh, Captain, he wrote a book called "1984". The quote is from the book. Maybe you've heard of it.

Maybe Tiger learned how to cheat from POTUS?
Maybe it's a black golfer thing
Maybe they just want a shot at CONDI?
Maybe this WAS a big story ... On the Golf Channel. for a little while.
But I'd prefer to watch Ty Webb putting blindfolded. Just be the ball...
Nanananananananana...
Tatatatatatatatatata....
Whirlyturd, you can be the HOLE!

What do YOU think he's talking about, Whiny? What do you think then framing flounders would think of Bull-jays attempt at jape?
ANSWER THE QUESTION PLEASE or admit that you eat shlongg in the Salina Pus Station!

The very first page of "The Rules of Golf" by the USGA..........
In The Spirit Of The Game
Unlike many sports, golf is played, for the most part, without the supervision of a referee or umpire. The game relies on the integrity of the individual to show consideration for other players and to abide by the Rules. All players should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times, irrespective of how competitive they may be.
This is the spirit of the game of golf. Pretty clear Tiger should have DQd himself..........

The Harrington Rule (Rule 33) is when a player does NOT know a violation HAD occurred; like PH's ball moved a micro-meter and the slow-motion HD TV camera caught it and a viewer called it in. It was NOT intended to protect a player who did not play by the rules - ignorance of the rule is NOT an excuse in golf, neither is "brain freeze" on the course. Mr. Ridley and the Masters wrongly applied Rule 33 in this case. The Masters committed a travesty with their decision. I don't think the Masters made an accidental mistake; but wrongly applied the rule to keep Tiger in the tournament......Tiger keeps TV ratings; sadly, even the Masters is all about the cash.
Sad day in Mudville....

That does does not and should not protect a player who DID NOT know a rule. Tiger got the 2 hazard rules mixed up and combined them. Just as Ridley and the Masters mixed up the application of rule 33 in this case. The Masters committed a travesty with their decision. +1.
Regardless of all the Eldrick drama, what a great Sunday at the Masters!! Really glad to see Adam Scott win with two clutch putts. With that beautiful swing, and having cured what ails him on the putting surface, he should win several more now that he's over the hump.

It was a great tournament; Sunday rarely disappoints and yesterday was wonderful golf. Glad to see the Australians get their first green jacket.
And you know Stevie (Scott's caddie) is grinning like a Cheshire Cat..........hope Steve Williams make some comment regarding Tiger's signing a wrong scorecard and failure to call a penalty on himself...............
