Dean from Ricks signed the final papers over a week ago. Ricks has orderd new equipment like new computers for the clubs. Also adding some changes to BDFW. Takes time to do something that is very complicated like take over multiple locations

Was at BDD today. Saw the BDD owner with the long braided grey hair talking to some guys from Ricks. He was showing them around the place upstairs near the VIP rooms. Looks like it's done and almost closed, dancers are unsure as well if things are going to change or not but from what I heard no one that works wants any significant changes to be done since it's a winning formula.

Drove by today Saturday 3/11 and there was 2 vans out front working inside. Seems there might be some action. Each wall outside is a different color though. LOL

I have been going to baby dolls since the old club back in the early 90's. I am both excited about what changes might be coming and a little anxious. For example, they desperately need a new POS system so it doesn't take 20-30 minutes to close out a tab. Maybe they will hire better/quicker bartenders and better looking waitresses. I do think they will raise the cover at the door and probably charge hourly for the booths and rooms upstairs. I do hope they replace the carpet and the weird lighting at the bar upstairs. I do think Rick's will improve the food quality and pay more attention to food safety.

I drove by on Sunday, and saw a banner already up that said no cover charge. I figure that means they are leaning ''Urban'' in their audience reach.

Monday I bought 100 shares of Rick's stock. The 2 were completely unrelated.

The press release says Rick's expects the Texas acquisitions to be accretive to EBITDA... That's what I want to read as a Stock holder. As a Horndog, I want to see and feel hot ladies, hopefully those will be a feature of Rick's Texas Clubs goung forward.

If they do, I would guess they will lose most of the BDD regulars who buy booths and the rooms upstairs. They would for sure lose my future business.

Somehow they found a formula that works and managed to stick with it. If the new management is smart (don't count on it) they won't change a thing and just sit back and collect the profits. My old boss used to say "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." But almost any time new management takes over a company they have to start to "improve" and "optimize" it to squeeze out a little more money, and if they try that they'll likely kill the model that has stood the test of time.
