... I don't go around saying that I have a pretty face.... others do that for me ...
Indeed, I can attest to the fact that Grace has a very pretty and anomaly-free face on which she hosts a pair of wonderfully soft, kissable lips.
Face pics in the showcase are definitely a plus, but as we were recently reminded in an unrelated thread--sometimes, a leap of faith shall be rewarded.
I can tell you this-- anyone who now works, or plans on working in the medical profession with a career that involves licensing or in the education field is a FOOL if they show their face. Moral turpitude is enough to cost you a license. You don't have to have an arrest record. Heck-- there have been teachers fired for having posed in magazines.
Beyond that even, if you apply for a job at any large organization you will be subject to a background check that usually goes beyond just checking public arrest records, at least if you're applying for a job that carries any material financial or reputational risk. In my business, I've seen the results of many of these searches, and they can be pretty invasive. There is no telling what technology (eg, facial recognition) will do to make it even harder to hide from your past.
TinMan is right. And depending upon what kind of job you are wanting to do once you quit the providing business, so is your chances of it getting back to you. If you decide to work at a high profile job with lots of public exposure, then it is more likely your past will be found out sooner or later. Even more so if you are stupid enough to use your hobby name, same email or phone number that you use in your escort ads/showcase/profile when you apply for a RW job.
You guys are all over reacting on this on both sides. It is simply a business decision a lady needs to make just as it is what their rate is or what services they offer.
One thing I have noticed; in the past ladies who did not show their face would state in their ad and profile that face pictures can be provided after screening. You don't see that option posted much any more.

It exists and is being used in background checks. Is it mainstream or accurate, not yet...but it will get there in due time and anything posted on the internet is there for ever. Folks don't realize everything is cashed and stored by third parties. So even if ECCIE ended up the way of ASPD, that info is still out there.
No one knows where you will be or where this info will haunt you 2, 5 or 10 years from now.
My mind is being a bit creative this morning.. but this would make one heck of a reality show!
For those who seek other options after being an escort.
The transition from escort life to the Real World..lol
To see the faces of those who may frown on us..
to the ones who find out, but instead want to become clients.
Trust me, the world is very weird when it comes to someone's own wants and needs.
Grace I believe you are a smart woman on how you carry yourself on the board.
A lot of ladies have potential to do much more.
This is a great stepping stone and can provide many more options if you manage your life and finances correctly.
As for me, I grew roots..lol
I am not sure what it will be yet,as far as my future in this..
but whatever it will be,
it will be of benefit to the community and other ladies like me.

I used to be one of those... until there were people who I had never talked to nor screened who had my face pic. Bad apples spoil barrels...

Very true, but NYer does bring up a good point. If it's not attached to a series of ads initiated by the lady's handle, plausible deniability does become an option (blame it on an angry ex). That's probably enough to satisfy most potential employers who really don't want to deal with such issues anyway.
While I think it is the ladies choice and I have seen some ladies that post face pictures and some that don't.
I have one thought on how to supply the face pic after screening. Provide a face pic via email that doesn't show the body and is in a different setting than advertisement photos. Then, there is no way to link the face photo to escorting. Then again, it is not a risk to me so again I think it is the ladies choice.
I choose my appointments on personality more than physical looks so that my jade my opinion.
My face is not very pleasant to look at…that's why I don't show my face. I actually wear a mask during appointments but my clients don't notice cause they're too busy looking at my body.

I've asked and received pics via email before...that is a good way to do it. If there's no mention of activities or this Hobby, not sure I would see how anyone would connect the two. And...in one case her email she used to send the pics wasn't part of her Showcase or ads, either.
Now, while this thread is short on brevity and as polarized as a damn magnet, it was worth reading for the above.
No cunning-linguist jokes here, but as an amateur student of colloquialisms and subcultural vernacular, that one was fucking worth the read.
As for me, quoting the bard, "This above all: to thine own self be true"
Whether that means post easily identifiable pictures of yourself, or not. Do what's right for you and that's that. We are all the products of our own cumulative decisions.
