What are you talking about? Pretty sure non-existent foes do not blow up children at music concerts.

We aren't talking about indiscriminate killing. We have identified an enemy. We know where they are. They aren't muslims(even though they would argue they are), immigrants, blue birds or inchworms.

the Manchester Love concert was a success.. I think it demonstrated that Terrorists need a window of time to plan and execute, surely that event would have been a prime target, if it was possible to mobilize on short notice.

of course, these other terrorist attacks had long lead times, and the Actors are almost always known to the police beforehand. many are on "watch" lists.. time to stop watching, and make arrests before the Terrorists strike.

I agree with you, but when I say success, I don't mean to imply anything changed.. I mean that it was a nice little "fuck you" to the Terrorists, the top Pop stars of the day organized quickly, returned to the scene of the terror, and raised a lot of money for victims.. that is a measure of success.
