OMG really? It was his idea. This is what Obama wanted. He mandated it from Congress. Congress put together what Obama wanted and Obama signed his budget request. It's Obama's to own.

In addition, the sequestration is not a slash in budget as liberal are making it out to be. It is a cut in spending growth. And to put it in English so you can understand - lets say you earn $100,000 per year and you are expecting a raise of $5,000 but you actually only get a raise of $3,000 so your new income is $103,000. That is exactly what this sequestration is. It cut like 1% in the growth in additional revenue NOT spending itself.

Obama is an idiot. All he does is spend spend spend spend. He is screwing this country up and pushing us to Communism. He is worse than Jimmy Carter! We have a spending problem. We have collected more money in 2013 since 2007.

After the negotiation guaranteed $1.4 trillion of deficit reduction in exchange for a debt ceiling increase, Boehner was very pleased.
In an interview with CBS' Scott Pelley from August 2011, Boehner conveys that he was very pleased with the result of the negotiation:
Boehner: When you look at this final agreement that we came to with the White House, I got 98 percent of what I wanted. I'm pretty happy.
