Exactly. Also with property tax, proposition 8 (I think) keeps taxes based upon purchase price plus minimal inflation increases. Most of the home in places like Coronado that are worth 1,000,000 for a cottage are still owned by the purchaser from when it was built. Silicon Valley South has some money where Qualcomm and other tech companies are located, and biotech brought some money. And remember, the city of San Diego was the only place you could vote. Residents of other burbs didnt get a say.

I am confused on why moving to LA. LA lost the Rams and Raiders for lack of fan support. Yeah, there are more people now in LA but it's still LA. They didn't support one team well enough and now they will have two. I seriously don't get it. What am I missing?
Is Goodell using LA as a 'place holder' until a better city, better fit comes along in the next few years?

In my opinion no. Jerry dishonered the Ring of Honor when he put Deon Sanders in it. Deon was a hired gun free agent who was here 4 or 5 years. Don't muck it up any more Stephen with Jerry's name in it. If he must, put a bronze statue of Jerry outside the stadium but no Ring of Honor. The Ring of Honor is for football. Jerry did nothing for football here after Jimmy left.

Lol....WOW, Camero, "when" exactly was Deion Sanders inducted into the Cowboy Ring of Honor...??? Guess I was outa town. Or perhaps I was in some sort of a coma....for some odd reason I must've missed that ceremony.
For the record, the last player to go in was Darren Woodson. Before that, the trio of Drew Pearson, Larry Allen and Charles Haley. So...last I checked... Prime Time has yet to see his name appear in our hallowed Ring. I know you've got an axe to grind with JJ and all however...that said, ya might want to check your facts the next time....ijs

There are the Cowboys fans who own several jerseys, coffee cups, bumper stickers and fly a flag on their car but can't name 5 starters on the team. Not that your one of them.

Well, Taint-meister....once word reached Canton that you felt this way, the NFL HOF president, David Baker, immediately issued an announcement that the honor of inducting JJ into the hall this summer has been officially rescinded. The Jones family is heartbroken...and it's all your fault.

I could not agree with you more. Jerry Jones is the best thing to ever happen to the Dallas Cowboys and the NFL. Tom Landry, Tex Shram, the making of Americas Team and all the excellence and trips to championship games over the span of 30 years pales in comparison to what Jerry Jones has done.

Again, you miss the point of why he was elected. And chances are Tom, Tex, and company would not have done anywhere near as well in the salary cap era.
