Yeah, the cost vs. fun ratio is certainly a consideration. Not really the same thing but before I had any idea about the hobby I went to the Sherri's Ranch brothel in Vegas and I think I could have hobbied for a couple of years and pretty frequently too on the amount of money I foolishly spent there, but I didn't know any better at the time.
