The OP started a stupid ass thread about sucking his own dick. He's kind of doing exactly that in this thread.

The only person I owe is Jesus, for dying on the cross for my sins. Most wars history in this country was started by a lying crooked ass government, and I don't want no part of that.

Suiram77,
I am disappointed in you. How can you go from making considerate, well-spoken posts to demeaning someone who fought for maintaining freedom which you apparently take for granted here in the USA? Maybe if you'd served overseas and experienced what this hero has experienced you would not speak so callously. I invite you to visit just for a week any of those places where he proudly served and even now, I'm sure you would be grateful to get back to the land of the free and the home of the brave.
You are smug enough to make a statement criticizing the leadership of our country, yet what causes do you lobby or march for? How many letters have you written to Congress?
Sweetheart, you were BLESSED to be born in the best country to live in the world and it is men like Marine who contributed to making it the strong country it is.
Men of action not of words.

As I've stated before, one of my best friends is a Marine. We've been best friends since we were in 1st grade. Thank you for your service. I know what my buddy is going through in war, (obviously not technically because I'm not there.) We talk about it. I'll be damned if I let a little piss ant like the OP insult any Marine. Not with the 18 years you have served my friend. I realize that you are fully capable of sticking up for yourself, but some things just need to be said.
Again, thanks for putting it all out on the line for 18 years. I'm sure you've been through hell and back. Glad you made it back.

I must say that the support here is a humbling thing ....
We serve this country proudly, not for glory...but the daily sacrifice that our men AND women make in defense of our way of life is often understated....
Think about this, every VOLUNTEER member has signed a blank check to the people of these United States up to and INCLUDING their life so that we all can enjoy the freedoms that some take for granted.....
I can certainly fight to this day if called upon....but we all can see the bent that Suriam77 has decided to engage in.....
Let's get back to the hobbying mongers that we are....enjoy the freedoms others have provided....
Mods, I vote to close this thread.......

Amen Butch, but I want the thread to remain open for the sake of one of the greatest freedoms we Americans have is freedom of speech which encompasses expression of thoughts...Although the douchebaggery is unattractive to most it is revealing to others.

"Have you noticed that the imbecile always smiles? Man's first frown is the first touch of God on his forehead. The touch of thought."
— Ayn Rand ( The Fountainhead)
"The greatest guilt of today is that of people who accept collectivism by moral default; the people who seek protection from the necessity of taking a stand, by refusing to admit to themselves the nature of that which they are accepting; the people who support plans specifically designed to achieve serfdom, but hide behind the empty assertion that they are lovers of freedom, with no concrete meaning attached to the word; the people who believe that the content of ideas need not be examined, that principles need not be defined, and that facts can be eliminated by keeping one's eyes shut. They expect, when they find themselves in a world of bloody ruins and concentration camps, to escape moral responsibility by wailing: "But I didn't mean this!"
— Ayn Rand

Well said Kitty, major kudos on a fantastic post. The un American rhetoric being unacceptable is something we can all agree upon.
