No, you're pettifogging over a semantical point. Tabitha's position is that she is against haggling and she won't deal with it. She is her BOSS and can say and do whatever she wants, even if YOU don't like it.
And come on and admit it: you haggle awl the time, doncha? If you didn't Tabitha's post would have passed by without notice, but no, you had to show how wrong she was to have such a strong opinion. So that infers you love to win the price battle, gawd bless your ever negotiating heart.
BTW, every opinion here is subjective or personal since there is nothing objective about a person's preference about negotiations. But you know that and just chose to pick a little fight over semantics.
This stuff is just so tawdry.

first off I have never tried to haggle, but I do insist on paying the price advertised and if discounts are offered either via P411 or their local website i will always mention it when i contact her. this small amount allows me to see her again later and is a good incentive for her to build clients.
To the OP maybe your guy saw you were advertising 10% off somewhere and he had been paying $200.. or he saw other reviews where guys paid $180 so he assumed that was your price? I was seeing a girl frequently every time she would come into town and one day I see her rates jump from $240 to $350. So i stopped responding to her but i still saw guys paying the lower price with reviews so I asked her about it and she said that the price was wrong. so I saw her again.
one of the things I have never understood is why if you read reviews you see guys paying different rates. and if you check providers you see different rates on websites for her depending on where she is. so when you ask about that she gets 'offended' which isn't fair to either party
i think a reason for this is she isn't the one posting prices on different sites, her pimp might be or she might hire a friend etc.
if i see a reviewer paid $160 and she is advertising $200 on eccie, $220 on p411, and $180 on her website is it wrong to ask? i had a provider get pissed for even asking her price before. well if i see 5 different prices obviously i want to make sure

You're a thick one, eh?
Tabitha's QUOTED text I replied to: "... There should be no negotiation ..."
That is the only post in this thread, other than yours, I objected to. Her post is not merely a statement of personal practice, or preference, but rather a pronouncement to the hobby community of how they SHOULD conduct their affairs. You really do not see the difference?
Were your thesis to be correct, I likely would've reacted to the OP's post on HER PREFERENCE. I did not. It's her preference. Good for her. WALDT.
And, no, in fact I've never haggled and likely never will. But I remain open to the possibility that might one day change -- I'm not opposed to the IDEA of negotiating service prices, my own preference is more aesthetical than philosophical -- given some unique set of circumstances that have yet to present.

I understood your point JohnnyYanks. Some men are so lost in trying to liked by prostitutes that will let go of their own values and defend to the end whether theybelieve the point or not. I say every one do what pleases them, I do not negotiate but I certainly don't tell others what they SHOULD do. I make suggestions but do not care if suggestions are followed or not. Sears tried to tell people how they SHOULD shop and look at them today, lmao!

Be careful, you may be considered a traitor for being onjective. Reading mu original post, i dont see where i spoke for everyone rather the provider who deals with what i spoke about. I don't get how someone gauged5a womans worth either via insults and assumptions. Thank you

Merely saying or posting "There is no negotiating" does nothing other than scaring away potential business that could be gained at a lower price point. So, if you're not interested and it is your business plan (personal decision) not to adjust your price point - That's fine.
But you can't eliminate the practice just by saying there is none - that's silly - plenty of ladies see the value in being flexible. Nice try, though....
Thanks for your input - I'm sure you'll do fine as long as you can convince enough guys that your price is a bargain relative to others and non-negotiable - it seems you've already convinced yourself.

I'm shocked you feel this way. I figure that if a lady's donations are too expensive it would be reasonable to move on to someone in your price range. I would never figure you for a guy to low-key shade a girl about being worth her rate.

My post wasn't about me personally or my personal feeling on the matter. (You know me better than that AND you've seen me naked!) My post was alerting the OP that she was being naive if she thought that by simply posting "No, there is no negotiating" that she could discourage/abolish the practice.
Some ladies and gents thrive on being negotiable/flexible in their personal hobby decisions. Some ladies and gents realize the value in the effort. Some ladies understand that getting 80% of something is better than 100% of nothing and conduct their business accordingly. Some ladies only want to see those who respond to her price point...I get that!!
I think the OP would have been better served by saying "Please don't try to negotiate MY rate." And post it on her showcase and in any advertising she uses. That way everybody knows up front. (To this day, she still has not put the fact that she "does not negotiate" on her showcase.)
Declaring "There is no negotiating" is naive....That's all.

I didnt think i had to clarify on my showcase that i didnt negotiate because until i came to ECCIE, i never heard of this. This is why i posted to begin with. There seems to be that type of traffic here and from what i have learned in the past two weeks from other hobbyist, Eccie is apparently known for this. I am not loosing business or discouraging the business flow by having a standard. Its everyones choice to move on if it doesnt work for them and again, this isnt a car sale. Im sure there are plenty of humans left who see the difference and value of time spent and who we spent it with as opposed to a new couch. Peace haggler
