First, thank you for the non-snarky retort.
I respected the first Bush. I admired Clinton's intellect. Then came the second Bush. When intellect didn't matter. Next was a mulato constitutional liberal. Think what you will. Now the country scrapes the bottom of the barrel with a constantly lying conman. What's next? Feel the Biden Burn?
It's politics as usual. Retaliation. You mention cheerleading. I thought of the university president. You mention a crime that may not be a crime. I thought of Monica.

Heaven forbid the special prosecutor actually question the president. Why do you think he wanted the questions mailed in before he answered them? Too busy living off Ruasian credit cards?

He sounded like Mussolini in his declaration of self exoneration.
Or was it Capone?

He met his goals of not serving WITHOUT having to leave the country. Or go to prison. My comments on Trump are as over the top, unproven and invalid as comments on Bill Clinton doing everything in his power to avoid military service. Both played the game perfectly.

Trump emulates Reagan in a lot of way, but his ego gets the best of him...I don't like Trump as a person but I'm not looking for him as a friend...just someone who will have the country's best interest at heart...like Reagan did!!
I love the way a "mystery candidate" wins over Trump...what a crock for SHIT...I have asked you several times to name a person or persons who could defeat Trump and...NADA!! Mostly wishful thinking on your part.
The left can't win with the radical ideas they are putting forth...more freebies and no way to pay for them. The 70% tax rate on the rich is a BIG winner...the New raw deal is a fucking disaster...unfettered immigration, abolish ICE, sanctuary cities, free health care for all and promised "livable" wage jobs for all...yeah that's a winning platform.
P.S. Why don't you give us your "mystery" candidate...since you're SOOOOO go at predictions

Biden can beat Trump. Sanders can beat Trump. Harris can beat Trump. There's your answer. I'm sure you will disagree but it is my OPINION which differs from your OPINION.

So you voted for Obummer because of Palin...when you got "uncle joe" as your running mate you can't go wrong...make complete sense!!

In 2016 I voted for Obama primarily because my 401k had lost 25% of its value in the last few months under Bush and I was nearing retirement. Even then, I wavered between voting Republican, which I had done in every election since 1968, or vote for the Democratic ticket for the first time. I had no major problem with McCain although he did little to inspire my enthusiasm, but I could not fathom Sarah Palin, as the saying goes, being a heartbeat away from being POTUS. Sorry if my voting methodology did not meet your criteria.

Another interesting statement. I did not vote for John McCain. Had more to do with Sarah Palin being on the ticket though. I admire him as someone who fought for the country risking his life in doing so and spent time in a POW camp.
SR posts supported, constructive posts and has my respect - although I often differ in opinion. Unlike the DPST Axis of Socialism posters - I differ and have no respect.
Palin was a terrible choice , and McCain had major Head and neck surgery for melanoma - which many folks do not survive. I was very afraid Obama would be assassinated by idiot racists, and did not agree with his liberal stands. Glad Obama got through his 8 years - I remember no attacks on him. It was a tough choice. that year.

Thank you. I most certainly don't expect everyone to agree with me on political issues. And I agree that certain posters on this forum, on both sides, deserve little respect. Even then, I do my utmost to respond with respect for others.
What others should understand is that my life will go on unchanged by whether a Republican or Democrat is in office.

I think you posted some random polls the other day. You should take a look at the Real Clear Politics web site. Just google Real Clear Politics, Trump, and the name of any Democratic opponent, and it'll give you a list for all polls for that head to head match up.
For example, google Harris and Trump. Of the 3 general election polls, Harris won 2, Trump won one.
Do the same for Biden. There have been 3 polls, for which Biden has winning margins of 7 to 12 percentage points.
For Sanders versus Trump, there have been 6 polls, and Sanders won all with margins of 4 to 15 percentage points.
I reckon your OPINION is well supported by the polls, at least for Biden and Sanders.

bb1961, it gives me no great joy to say this. Sanders scares the shit out of me, and the fact that he's leading Trump by an average of 10.4 percentage points scares me even more.

Just like Hellery did...might as well list all the candidates...just that extreme socialist ideology has never won any Presidential election...and you seem to thing this will be a first.
Why the hell do you think they now label themselves "progressive"...or "democratic socialist"...as some how that is different then just plain socialist!

Then I think it should be that both did "just enough" to not serve but Trump didn't promise to serve and then renege on the promise. Sadly, a lot of people pulled strings but that bald faced lie to the ROTC colonel is over the line.
