IF you have requested hotel info and have not yet made your reservations, PLEASE do so as soon as possible.

I had a couple of PMs regarding that and have spent the last half hour on the phone getting everything straightened out. It will cost me a bottle of Crown Royal Black, but I usually wind up spending more than that anyway, so no problem with that.

Let me just say that this hotel is bending over backwards to accommodate us and if anyone is experiencing ANY problems, let me know ASAP.

I will be out of touch most of the day tomorrow (Friday) but will be checking for messages Friday night.

In the mean time, I truly hope that everyone is as excited about this first social in Laredo as I am!

Looking forward to everyone having such a great time that it will be talked about for years to come. (Well, ok, maybe months...... A few days, maybe?)

Tell me the following info:


If you have already called in a reservation.

Number of rooms booked or needed.

Arrival date and number of days staying.

A significant number of the 130+ available rooms are being held for us. If some are not needed, I need to know so I can tell the hotel to go ahead and release them as another party is being booked for the same week.

We do have first priority for the available rooms, so please get the requested info so that I can inform the hotel.

With only three more days to go, we are looking good!

Had posted about room availability but now have that all straightened out. A staff member had dates confused, so there are plenty of rooms available, no problem

For you that are arriving early, or are local to Laredo, there will be a dinner and drinks mini meet on Monday night, time TBA, but most likely around 6:00 PM. If you have hotel info, you know where to go.

As time grows closer, may have a few more things to let you know of.
