By and large, that didn't happen in the 1930's despite the best efforts of some to cause that end result.

Is that "the 47%" discussed during the campaign this past year? Just asking.

Actually, not.
There is a fundamental PROBLEM with ANYONE suggesting that another is NOT American simply because another disagrees with ANYONE's opinion, because being American PRESUMES we have differences and those "differences" are ACCEPTED as being a function of BEING AMERICAN.

In 1981 I was in England and John Hinkley shot President Reagan. Reagan had been president for only two months and we didn't know who he really was and that night we didn't care. Several fights broke out between Americans and the Brits. Mostly because the Brits had been told by our media that Reagan was a dunce and a dangerous cowboy. To us it didn't matter if you liked the guy next to you or not, you were both Americans. I look at Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Moore, Rosanne Barr, Rosie O'Donnell, and Bill Mahr to name just a few. Sometihing happens in the world and they always seem to come down on the other side even if the other side is Chavez, Hussein, Little Jung, Putin, or Hezbollah. It has become kneejerk and it started when they disagreed with Bush.
In 2001 I never would have thought this but the last decade has shown that the left (Code Pink, Occupy, Hollywood, media) have their own favorites and they will not put politics aside for the greater good.

There is a solid misconception from WTF about people that consider themselves a part of the TEA party movement.
One, we do not care what a woman does with her vagina, we just do not want to have to pay with our tax dollars for the consequences of what she does with it.
Two, we do not want the government violating what we believe are our rights guaranteed under the Constitution.
The real hipocracy is how those on the left claim they are all for the minorities yet practice eugenics and want others to pay for it.

The ultimate goal of the radical left is one world government. That's their vision of utopia. Once you understand that, all their behavior becomes explicable. It's the explanation that passes Occam's razor. The unified field theory of the radical left is that they don't see themselves as citizens of countries; they see themselves as citizens of the world.

There is a commom misconception among the Tea Pukes that they think they are right and everybody else is wrong.
Read 2Dogs last sentence and it proves it.
They do not care what a woman does with her pussy ....as long as she does exactly wtf they believe! LOL
Good Lord 2Dogs pull your head out of your hypocritical ass and look in the mirror and realize that you are part of the problem. We all want people to pay for shit we do not believe in. Let me repeat that We all want people to pay for shit we do not believe in. That is a natural born fact when taxes are involved in anything. That includes you.

How does one go about getting to one government? Nation building. How does one nation build? With a powerful military that extends all over the world. Who supports that you or me? I would say you more so than I.

Anyone here really think we'd have the same reaction from those on the right if Obama were shot?

Obama has no religion. He attended rallies at a hate cult for twenty years. What Jeremiah Wright preached is not a religion by any reasonable definition of the word. Jeremiah Wright openly admits that his "religion" is based on the teachings of James Cone, a racist lunatic.
Here's what Jeremiah Wright and Barack Obama believe. The words of James Cone:
"Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community . If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community … Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love. " (Quoted in William R Jones, “Divine Racism: The Unacknowledged Threshold Issue for Black Theology”, in African-American Religious Thought: An Anthology, ed Cornel West and Eddie Glaube.)
