Combative? I'm simply stating my feelings on the fact that I'm glad I no longer have to worry about running into such clients since I am retired. I wasn't aware that I was no longer able to contribute to this board even though I am retired-especially since none of the mods have either mentioned it nor deleted my post.

I am pro choice, he made the choice not to have a child with her and went out of his way to take precautions to ensure it wouldn't happen. She made the choice to possibly get knocked up by some stranger and keep it. It is her choice to deal with it on her own, that is her "adult decision".
We aren't in the hobby to make illegitimate children, we are here to have fun as safely as possible. We all choose what risks we are comfortable taking, we are all aware of the risks involved with having sex and getting into the hobby. IMHO she WAS NOT hobbying safely, doing her "job" properly, or making smart choices.

While I agree that it's nearly impossible to avoid chemicals and toxic substances my point-and I think the provider in the story's point-is that it's her choice if she wants to add one more into/on to her. Just because she has/uses 1,001 substances a day doesn't give anybody the right to justify that "just one more" chemical is "okay." If you're pro-choice then you should support her stance on that.

He didn't make the choice to not have a child with her. Yes, it might have been completely unintentional as most accidents are but the fact remains he willingly consented to have sex with her knowing the risks. Birth control is not 100% and if he didn't want to have any children perhaps he should consider a vasectomy just as mush as she should consider a tubal ligation. He made the choice to run away and hide. As you said, we are all aware of the risks so isn't he just as much at fault as she? Yes, she did/or is possibly making the decision to be a single parent should she become pregnant but financially he is still responsible. Not wanting the kid and leaving the possible mother of your child with a tube of spermicide and the morning after pill in not a defense to not paying child support as I'm sure any family court judge will tell you.
