Remember when Trump bombed Syria. And people critized him for flipping his stance. And his people loved the strength it showed and the compassion because he was doing it for the kids. He cares remember. Oh but today it's announced that we are scrapping a program that trains people to fight the guy who killed all those children. So we wasted tomahawks so that Trump could look presidential and distract from his failings. Why did we scrap the program? Could it be because Russia is backing the regime in Syria? Yeah most likely. Next time there are children killed in Syria, Trump will be a hypocrite if he tries to bomb there. He doesn't care.

You do realize that the program he killed was providing training and arms to ISIS, right? Russia is fighting ISIS. So is Syria and the United States. Russia and the USA are on the same side when it comes to terrorism but the warmongers yell "collusion" when Trump tries to work with Russia.

Trump bombed Syria to send a message to his critics and to China. That told the world he wasn't messing around and he's not beholden to Russia. But hey, believe what you want.

I really can't tell if you're a troll or just a moron.

The program was not training ISIS. They were training people to combat a brutal regime. A regime supported by Russia. And a regime that is the man reason ISIS had any strongholds there. This program is about that regime. The US also has been training to combat ISIS in Syria. Warmongers? You are praising a guy who's campaign was about being against all these wars. Yet he's bombed Syria, provoking Iran and is being provoked by his Korean doppelgänger. Yeah I'm sure Trump is warmonger.

Listen to what you just said, he bombed Syria, a place he had previous said to stay away from, to send a message to CRITICS and CHINA. I thought he did it because he saw the children and he wanted to show Assad he meant business. Even though the base was still operational. And he has yet to prove he is beholden to Russia. They hack us, let's do cyber security with them. They are pro-Assad, lets shut down our program to help the people against him. I've never seen so may people connected and friends with a group that pretend they aren't looking out for each other's interests. Trump people keep seeing connections and meetings pop up and they keep telling themselves and everyone else it's coincidence and nothing to see.

^^^Um, Assad is a fucking Democratically Elected president with 80% approval rating of his citizens (infinitely higher than our own current president I might add). There is no "regime" in Syria. Assad is LESS a "regime" than Trump who did NOT win the popular vote and therefore could be argued he is under our laws legallypresident, but not certainly not a "democratically" elected one.

No, Assad and Russia are fighting AMERICAN trained, backed and funded ISIS terrorists. That's why Assad has always, and continues to have the rating approval he does. His elections have not been rigged. His opponents have not been jailed. The women in his country can vote. And the people of Syria went through great lengths, through war and famine, literally crawling over the rubble of their homes and walking for hours/days to find a polling station to vote for him. He is a secular and contemporary leader in a seething morass of muslim Daesh extremism. If Assad and Putin are not successful, Syria will be a muslim state and another war-torn third world member of the caliphate, and Putin will not get his pipelines. Saudi Arabia will tho. He is not there for altruism's sake. Past American leadership/SAUDIS do not want Putin to have the pipelines, just one of the many causes of this war, but a major one.

Putin is a murderer and a plutocrat. But our CIA overthrows democratically elected officials and slaughters innocents before most fat Americans have taken their first donut of the morning. Please. Hawaii is only a state because we overthrew and overtook the existing happy government there. Bay of Pigs, Operation Mongoose, Grenada, Haiti, Holy Fucking Nicaragua where we are responsible for the deaths and disappearance of thousands and thousands of people. I could go on, but I'm not sure any one give a fuck.

Anyone trying to shore up American moral superiority over Putin is either willfully ignorant, or deeply intellectually dishonest. Go back to sleep guys. Put on American Pickers, put that donut in your face, pull back that Laz-E-Boy turn on CNN and/or FOX and let them do the thinking for you. It's pretty clear watching you Lefties and Righties dogfight over bleached bones here on this thread y'alls brains have evacuated through your nether fundament.

RIP Prophet George

It wasn't just "for the kids", millsy. He also did it for your pal odumbo. Trump shored up that "red line" against the use of chemical weapons. You remember... the one odumbo drew in the sand but then never enforced when Assad brazenly crossed it. I think odumbo owes Trump a "thank you" for making odumbo's red line finally look credible. Don't you agree, millsy?

Lemme get this straight... you're saying Trump smacked down Assad - Putin's Syrian ally - because he was trying to appease Putin?

Ummm... how does that work again, non-observing?

Word of advice - don't try to be a foreign policy analyst. You're way out of your depth.

So here's the new thing in Austin - apparently, some deranged and mentally disturbed women are dressing up like the handmaids from the show "The Handmaids Tale". They go to the capital and protest something. It's probably something about Trump because this week is dump on Trump week. Basically they are just looking for attention. If they wanted to change something then they should go vote for the change they want and the person they want to change it. These morons just ruined a good show.
On the plus side - I got my Donald troll - They call it- "Hair to the Chief" - he's so cute!

You call warning in advance to Russia to move their planes/staff from an obscure airbase before bombing it and then it was operational the next day a smack down?

God damn, you're dumb! Do you really want to start a war with Russia?

Un-fucking-believable!

Only a completely unhinged left-wing wacko would point to the fact that we alerted the Russians 30 minutes before our missiles slammed down on that Syrian airbase as some kind of evidence that Trump is appeasing them. Are you insane? If we were appeasing, we wouldn't have attacked in the first place! Of course we gave them very short notice. They had personnel at the airbase and we wanted them to get their asses out of the way so we didn't have Russian casualties. But leave it for the left-wing wackos to spin it into a ridiculous lie! You dipshits will grasp at ANY preposterous falsehood to cling to your collusion myths.

Of course, if there HAD been Russian casualties, you morons would have accused Trump of recklessly trying to start WWIII!

And we didn't bomb the runways, we bombed the planes that were parked in their hangars. Why are you so desperate to spin the attack as a failure? Whose side are you on anyway? Are you a propagandist for Assad the Butcher of Damascus? The guy who drops sarin gas on babies?

Notice how that hasn't repeated since the bombing of Syrian aircraft? Very effective!

So protesters are deranged and mentally disturbed because they dress a certain way? You don't even know what they're protesting, but can pass that judgement? What if they were protesting our conversion to Sharia law and wearing tri-corner hats?

All protesters are looking for attention. That's the whole fucking point of a protest, to draw attention to your cause.

Yeah, protests have never been a catalyst for change. Boston tea party: those idiots should have just voted for the change they sought. Civil rights movement: another bunch of ineffectual idiots that should have voted to bring about change.

It's funny that so many 2nd amendment folks have problems with the right to protest our government. Like, what's the ultimate reason you have the right to arms?

Default Does the lying ever stop?

White House admits no phone calls from Boy Scouts or Mexican president.
http://chicago.suntimes.com/news/boy...aising-speech/

Trump says the Boy Scouts head told him his speech was the ‘greatest.’ He appears to have imagined this.
