I prefer independent ladies too. Even better is if they have their own nice in call with a clean shower and beverages. But if a lady is managed, I do not want to see the management. And if the management is abusive, I definitely don't want to see them or the girl.

There is no place in the hobby for a pimp. Its so last year to have one.
If you do have a pimp and I am aware of it. When you ask for a reference I delete your email. Let your pimp get your references and take your photos.

I think it is extremely insulting that you all think the only guys that want to date us want to pimp us out or mooch off of us. Some of us are able to find good guys with jobs that like, even love us for who we are. This is only a job and only part of who I am. How dare you guys act like you know about our personal lives?

Pimps have been around as long as prostitution. The truth is some girls prefer not to handle their finances. It's hard to do. There are benefits to that situation and not all pimps are terrible or abusive. Some of the prettiest and most professional girls on the board have pimps.

If you guys stop falling for obviously fake ads, you will stop getting attacked by thugs. There are so many legit providers on the board that actually work to get your business. It's your own stupid fault if you go for the girl with blurry pics and no reviews and get robbed.

I don't know where you cross the line between being a pimp or agency or scheduler or whatever you want to call them. I guess it all depends on how you treat the ladies who work for you.

The negativity of a pimp comes from the image of how he controls his "stable" and doling out only a small portion of the income.

Many ladies could use a good manager to handle their image on web sites, showcases, securing an incall, and scheduling. A lot of expertise is involved and there is no shame in hiring someone to help. I would draw the line on taking over their money management. That is too much like ownership.

There are many who would take advantage of a lady needing such help. The need to check with other providers who have successfully established reliable contacts for these services is paramount.

I've never had the pleasure of meeting her but Morgan states it perfectly. A woman as intelligent and beautiful as she needs no outside help unless she asks for it and she can dictate who she sees in and out of the business on her terms. I highly suspect any boyfriend who would presume to infringe on her choices would be shown the door. That is what defines the big difference between hookers and escorts.

I am a mature independent woman. I take care of my own business, finances, and other responsibilities. I choose my own actions and hold myself responsible for them. No one can tell me what to do with my life, my money, or my body....not even my boyfriend.

I agree with Morgan about the concept of their being good business mangers and fantastic, gorgeous, respected, professional ladies who have managers. Unfortunately, they are about as rare as the ladies who can handle their own business. OG is right its about who you reach out to. One good thing about being managed is you are less likely to make mistakes because someone who has been there and done that is there to show you the way. I sometimes wished that I had someone to call and ask random questions of but I am very cautious of getting too close to anyone in the hobby. Luckily, I was blessed to meet with the wisdom of more experienced clients who are genuinely good people and have a lot of valuable advice. I'm so grateful to be on the other side of that recently and helping new person to the hobby find a few good providers to see. That's how I like to pay it forward.

If a woman has a SO that is OK with her profession and treats her as a girl friend and not as a slave then I have no problem. But as I have witnessed in the past a woman with bruises that she passes off as an auto accident then I have a problem. As for me I will avoid the very young women that tend to require pimps to schedule and over see their well being.

Who really cares about the issue as long as the time you spend together goes well, You have no ties outside of your visit.

I tend to get annoyed about guys that get on my massage table with wedding rings but you don't see me crying about it.

Pimps, managers or boyfriends belong behind the scene. Money shouldn't even be discussed, she has a rate, you pay it and its hers. Whatever she does with it is done. There are the horror stories of men showing up etc but that shows the intelligence of the woman.

To the OP if I were you I would done the same in that situation. Maybe it was just bad planning but I can understand how it looked to you.
