Hell, even the music in it was EPIC!! This movie had such an impact on me as a child. It tought me just how much you can free your imagination and dream big.

2nd would be The Matrix (the original). This film was SO friggin awesome looking and ground breaking in the technology that it used. It also presented life-altering concepts of philosophy - you can change the Matrix you know? LOL.
"The Matrix" is wee good' I can watch that over and over lol ;-)

There's a lot of everybody's favorite hit list here so I will do 3.

"Casablanca" Gotta go with the throngs of all time movie critics here. They just don't write scripts that good anymore "Why did you come to Casablanca Rick?" "I came for my health. I came for the waters." "But Casablanca is in the middle of the desert." "I was misinformed."

and

"Brother Sun Sister Moon" this is a little known movie that I have seen 3 times and I have been very affected by it. The awakening to the spiritual life of St. Francis of Assissi

"My Dinner With Andre" very little known. Imagine making a truly great film thta only consists of a conversation of 2 guys at dinner. Brilliant.

Good ones Up.
I only know two of the three. Brother Sun Sister Moon is one I should check out.

Surprised I haven't heard Citizen Kane since critics laud it in the top slot.

Patton. Shows the sacrifice our soldiers went through to free the world of tyranny. Also shows how politics slowly took over warfare. WW II marked the end of allowing our military to do their job as best as they could. Politicians now determine how we should engage our enemies.
