Just an update, ok, getting ready for my appt to schedule my port. I was told CTRC sucks and they dont really take care of you because it's for the poor and that I should go elsewhere for care, but I think the person who said that is just a very shallow individual who has nothing better to do than to try to humiliate people and make them feel worthless because he probably feels that way himself, must suck to be so lonely and miserable that you have to try and turn other people's world upside down for your own satisfaction when you have nothing to gain from it. WOW. Luckily I have a great group of support from the eccie community and from my family and my bf and his family as well. They are all waiting for me to come home to Laredo. I am strong and I will fight because I have younger siblings counting on me to make it, and of course, Im not a fuckin pussy! Fuck Cancer! LOL Doctors care about their patients regardless of where u work or how rich you are. I like my Doc. He's really nice and super smart for sure. Scary appt though! lol

Truly shocks me that even at moments like this...when someone is diagnosed with a serious disease...that there are people who are so self-absorbed and mean-spirited that they just HAVE to start DRAMA!

One thing for sure...Cancer is serious shit...NOTHING to joke about! If you think it'll never happen to you...better look at the stats! And, hopefully, it won't knock at your door...but, IF it does...you'd better hope you have genuine people around you! People who will stay POSITIVE and be there for you...instead of disingenuous, mindless losers who lfind humor in someone's suffering...or try to instigate trouble! That's about as LOW as someone can get!!

Anyway...enough of that! PARTY is getting better and better! Win-win for everyone!

If the timing doesn't work out and I can't be there, know you're in my thoughts Pepper. Like you said, fuck cancer, and I'm sure you're gonna beat this. It sounds like you have a great support group at home and you've seen how much this site has gotten behind you.
