If you think Ryan's plan is market driven you are a bigger fool than was first thought!. It is a mandate to buy insurance, the government gives you a voucher to buy insurance. That is not market driven cutiepie.
Look, I'm not saying that either plan is good but Ryan's plan is no better.
Read Dave Stockman if you want to understand how we can get real costs savings or better stated longevity.

If there are multiple companies going after the same dollars, that is competition.
You are a bigger moron than I even thought.

Speaking of morons, moron, let me ask you this, if the plan is so Hot Damn good, why not have it in effect now. Why 10 years? Why not have that great competetion factor right now?
If it is going to save so much money and seniors are going to love it so, WHY WAIT IF IT IS A BETTER DEAL THAN WE PRESENTLY HAVE?

I need to ask Paul Ryan WTF you think about his Medicare fix?
I thought that maybe you were the person to ask about your views, not Paul Ryan.
You had said ''multiple companies going after the same dollars'' is a great thing. Why wait COG 10 years then ? Whats a matter, cat get your tongue when caught in a contradiction?

My fix would be to phase the whole thing out over 30 to 40 years, and get the government out of it completely.
Happy?

You are not running for office.
I asked you what you thought about Raul Ryan's fix. A person who is running for office. A plan you seem to either like or dislike depending on the time of day you are posting.

Obama was not the status quo.
He trimmed 716 Billion by cutting waste and fraud.
Yet you defend Ryan's plan because , you think, it is some how 'market friendly'.
You will not answer why if it is so good, that you think Ryan is waiting 10 years to implement.
I will tell you why. Seniors would revolt. They would not vote for Romney/Ryan because it is not a better plan like you/he say. Romney and Ryan are in fact trying to buy the Seniors vote.
Nothing in the plan actually saves Medicare. Granny is selfish bitch and does not mind having you and me pay for her Medicare and cutting the younger generations Medicare. The old folks vote in higher numbers. They vote in their own selfish interests and not in the nations as a whole. Neither side can say that but I sure as hell can, I'm not running for office. I can not help if gnadfly does not like that fact. and that you turn a blind eye.

You are making shit up. I'm not defending Ryan or his plan. I'm defending the notion of competition.
I'm tired of you making shit up about me. Do it to someone else. I am not supporting Ryan, his plan or his ticket.

You said Ryan's plan does something it does not. That sure sounded like defending Ryan's plan to me. .

I'm not a big Ryan fan, in fact, not a fan at all. But lying about his program does nothing but cloud the issue.
.

I did not lie about his program. You are the one lying. Ryan's plan is not about the free market. The Federal Government giving you a voucher and making you buy insurance is not free market. The Federal Government

Giving you a choice among several options is closer to the free market than no choices and no options. And if you have a population with a given amount of money to spend on a certain item (like giving people a voucher) companies will compete to get that money. They will do so by trying to offer better quality services than the other guy. That's how it works. No, it's not a total free market, but it's a damn sight closer to one than Obama is offering.
That's why vouchers would improve schools. It will also improve Medicare. Otherwise, you have a group of bureaucrats deciding what is best for seniors. With vouchers and competition, insurance companies will be determining what the seniors need, by watching what they purchase, and then working to provide those services at a higher quality and lower cost than their competition, so that they get the voucher money, and not the other company.
You have no clue what capitalism or free enterprise is, do you, WDF? You think the government is the answer to everything, and we should all just bow before them and be thankful for whatever little tidbits they dole out.
Not me. I'd prefer freedom.
And I'm not supporting Ryan, or his plan. I'm just saying it is better than what there is now. A step in the right direction, if you will.
But I have tried to explain my position to you. Now I will wait for you to make up whatever you want about it, put it down, and tell everyone how much smarter you are than me. It's an old, boring cycle that keeps repeating itself.

The old boring cycle is you thinking that the free market will solve all societal ills.
You and yours think a free market where you get to pick and choose which rules we play by is superior to all others!
I R O N Y
Paul Ryan's plan will exacerbate income inequity in this country.
I have told you a hundred times, I am not smarter than you, I am just smarter than you on this subject matter.
