History tells us nothing good comes out of the far left; only desstruction and misery. Capitalism, free markets, private property rights has delivered a far richer existence for mankind than any other 'ism man has invented.

Yea but what we have now in this country is not Capitalism or free markets. You are voting for a guy that is part of Wall Street. Those are the biggest Con artists we have ever seen in the history of mankind.

All True; but Romney is closer to the real deal than Obama and his Democrats. When a viable Constitutional Conservative candidate gets the nomination he will have my vote. But in the meantime I am with team Romney.
I don't know what your idea of true Capitalism or free markets is; but private enterprise is just doing what they do best with the cards they are dealt. If we get to freer markets and Constitutional governance, I suspect private enterprise will operate much the same way. And likely prosper even greater.
In the meantime private enterprise just wants to maximize profits for their owners - which is admirable and capitalism at it's core.
Capitalism (and private property rights), with all it's failings and short comings, has been a net plus to humanity.

We went to the moon not on Capitalism but Socialism.
We built the highway system not on Capitalism but Socialism.
We have educated the masses not on Capitalism but Socialism.
Nations work best with a mix of the two. It is not an either or.

A meaningless retort of fluffery.
Civilization crawled out of feudalism and the dark ages with the notion of private property rights and capitalism. Without capitalism governments woujldn't have wealth to tax and spend on moon shots.
And the massess have been saved and educated thru capitalism. The single most signficiant breakthrough in mankind (the printing press) was possible because of capitalism and private property rights.

Cavernous Ignorance
Well, (spoken in Ronald Reagan's voice) there you go again!
When you make such careless and broad-brush statements like that, you show how cavernous your ignorance really is.
(Your spelling is not that great either, but let's leave that aside for now)
I believe we have some good concepts from both the right and the left.
. . . Personally, I believe that the correct way to navigate through this complex world is somewhere in the middle.

No education is mostly done through Socialistic methods. What do you think school taxes are. A bill from some private company? You know how much I have paid in school taxes over the years? A bunch You know how many kids I have? None

Governments have wealth because of resources. That is what damn near all wars have been fought over. The more you control, the wealthier you are. That is simple math...
In case you haven't noticed, our form of capitalism is nothing other than crony crap. Investment Bankers run this country through the Fed.

The wealth of school districts is a result of capitalism and private property rights.
And crony capitalism is dysfunctional and poor use of limited resources. The freer the markets, the higher efficiency the markets make use of limited resources. Government intervention (socialism, cronyism, facism, etc) inteferes and causes markets to dysfunction.

there fixed that. for socialism to work, it needs capitalism to fund these objectives.
capitalism can generally take care of itself as long as there is a demand for something. It does have a dark side, robber barons which is a form of crony capitalism come to mind and it looks like history is repeating again with the current iteration of crony capitalism

Is Marshall back on vacation?
Maybe he was walking around the Tea Party events asking the government to keep their grubby hands off his Medicare!
