Pharaoh, please. The software problems that the late P had have nothing to do with the fact that everybody migrated to a board where you have a zero say on day to day operations. Compare and contrast a sad state of your homie2 board today with the way it used to be a year ago when the P was down for a few months. Big difference. Let me be very clear what MY beef is with you. For several years, strip club section of Houston board at the P was among the liveliest on the board. The traffic did go down after Satin left in 2005, but it was still chugging along thanks to Pornstaro. Once he left the board, it didn't take you long to decide that, even though it ain't broke, it must be fixed. You removed the BCD credits for strip club reviews. We protested. You locked the thread. Your own moderator Hambone protested. You didn't listen. Your own moderator Hambone asked us regular strip club contributors via PM, to vote in a poll to reinstate BCD credit. We voted for BCD to be reinstated by a large margin. You didn't give a fuck about that either. Surely enough, people stopped writing reviews and the strip club section was on its deth throws when the P finally died.
Now why would you fuck up a good thing for no apparent reason? One is an obvious answer: because you like to rule with an iron fist and micromanaging is your middle name. Look where that got you today, on your own homie2 board. A vast desert of the size of the Sinai peninsula.
But lets' examine a less obvious reason: you did so because you were concerned that po-po may get easy BCD credits by publishing fake reviews. You were concerned about *gulp* security of the board. Naw, that couldn't have been the case: if you had been concerned about fake reviews, you'd have appointed somebody local who actually goes to titty bars to be the mod of Houston titty bar forum to weed out the fakes. Or, you could have applied the same reasoning to spa section, due to a high turnover at Asian parlors (just how many "Kim's" work in asian spas in Houston today, what do you think?). But no... it was far easier *for you* not to share power with yet another Houston mod and to just eliminate the "problem" that existed only in your head, with a solution that did not improve the security of the board ONE IOTA, as we have all seen in early December of last year just by watching the news at 10.
But since we already have you here, and since it seems that you're itching to tell us something, let me help you by asking a couple of question...
are we ever going to hear an apology from you for taking away BCD for strip club reviews in Houston strip club section?
are we ever going to hear an apology from you for not listening to what PAYING MEMBERS of the P expressed in the related poll about BCD credits in stip club section
and finally...
now that you have your own board, do you realize how many people, like myself, you must have pissed off in Houston alone with your actions while you were the pharaoh on the P (cca last two years or so)?
