He has lawyered up; an indication he will challenge the pre nup...I think he can prove the wedding was a financial scheme cooked up by the Kardashian Klan to boost brand and income...if he can prove a fraudulant scheme, then the pre nup will be void.

Yes, she took advantage of an IDIOT who yearned for media attanetion. Let's face it none of us would know his name if he was'nt married to her. Still it's a skank move to keep the ring. She has enough money she should get her own damn ring! Isn't that the image she tried to project- Independent Business Woman! Prove it!

I know this is not so simple, but the rule I go by is this... If the guy screws up and causes the breakup/divorce, then she should get all of his stuff she wants (including the ring), but if she screws up or asks for a divorce with her at fault for not "being ready" or whatever the excuse is, then the guy should get everything he wants including the ring. The one at fault looses it.

I thought Kris Humphries was in on the scam. I guess I was wrong and he will be getting paid.

I think the whole damn thing is a scam that BOTH parties profited from. The Kardashian clan and te Humphries clan. The ring should be auctioned off and the proceeds given to charity.

There you go. I said yes and no.
I am late to the party on this thread, got as far as this post. The ring is a promise to marry. So if the marriage was real then it doesn't matter how long she was with him she gets to keep the ring, she fulfilled the promise. However, if the marriage was not real then no, she needs to give it back. In most courts if the marriage was fulfilled the judge will allow that the woman keep the ring.

Oh just a little tidbit/history on the history of the wedding ring. Thought this was interesting:

http://www.thehistoryof.net/history-...ding-ring.html

Oh and some legal advice on the ring and marriage by this lawyer:

If that is the case I hope he wins and gets the ring back. Oh one other thing I briefly heard on the news the ring was actually donated by some jewelry company. So should he still get to keep the ring if this is the case? Maybe that company should ask for it back if the marriage was staged and not real.

Keep the ring Kim, They both made more than that off the rights to the wedding footage it was reported at over 10mil. Hell he made 5mil, and got to bang Kim for awhile. As far as I'm concerned he netted 3mil.

Perhaps all is not lost. People are lobbying the networks to get the Kardashians off screen. It seemed there was nothing too vile here in America that people wouldn't take, but taking the p--- out of marriage is really taking it too far for a lot of folk.

At the same time a lot of people in Penn State are supporting Joe Paterno, child rapist. I read some psychologist jargon online that said it was because sports enthusiasts felt reflected glory thus also infamy, and some other bull---t.

No moral delicacy there, but perhaps people throwing in the towel with the Kardashians is a good start.

Poor Kris Jenner, she had such a winning brand - founded on Kim's sex tape? - and now Kim pretending to go straight threatens to send it all down the drain.
