if you think the NRA is responsible for one single gun death in the history of America then you also believe Hitler did good things in Germany but was just misguided

How the hell is Abbott or anyone else responsible for the actions of the shooter? Did Abbott know what evil was lurking in the mind of this kid? O'Rourke made a fucking fool out of himself.

I told you earlier. Look up the word ''responsible''. I don't know what else to say. ''An obligation to do something''.

Which as Beto said, all of us are responsible. You seem very slow tonight.

I don't blame any of it, much less all of it on the NRA. You are making shit up as usual, when you lose focus in a debate.

Don Mclean is very much ALIVE. He's getting better pussy at 75 than you got at 25!

One hit wonder? Dreidel? Since I don't have you? Castles in the air? Vincent?

You must be a Country Music guy. You have no clue about Don Mclean.

Another one who does not know what the definition of responsible is. Hint: the root word is ''response''.

Chung, sir:

US gun control: What is the NRA and why is it so powerful?

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-35261394

Quote:
The NRA lobbies heavily against all forms of gun control and argues that more guns make the country safer. It relies on, and staunchly defends, a disputed interpretation of the Second Amendment to the US Constitution, which it argues gives US citizens the rights to bear arms without any government oversight.

Fuck all you gun nuts.

Especially Lauren bimbo Boebert.

He said Abbott was responsible, because he wasn't doing anything. How is Abbott or anyone else suppose to detect a flaw in this guy to prevent a shooting. In 2019 there was a mass shooting at a Grocery Store in El Paso. So what should Abbott do to prevent the next shooting in Texas? What should his "RESPONSE" be?

Ah yes, Gun Control. So first the Second Amendment must be rewritten to abolish all citizens from possessing firearms. Secondly Firearm Manufactures can only manufacture and market Firearms to Law Enforcement and the Military. Existing Firearm ownership must be confiscated. So when it's all said and done no American citizen can buy, Sell or posses any kind of Firearm. So that takes care of Gun Violence, but it doesn't take care of violent crime or violent criminals. I guess if you get beat up real bad or stabbed you can always say you didn't get shot. The real sad thing is you couldn't defend yourself.

i sailed under a lucky star. in 1977 i saw Led Zep 3 times on their 1977 tour.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Led_Ze...977#Tour_dates

20 April Cincinnati Riverfront Coliseum
25 April Louisville Freedom Hall
28 April Richfield Richfield Coliseum

two years later i missed out on a ticket to this tragedy

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wh...innati_tragedy

i was a ticket scalper in high school .. but couldn't get a ticket to this show. i got over to a buddy who had some tickets to sell and just missed him selling his last ticket to a buddy. let's call him "Paco". (he was from Peru). he got the last ticket.

Paco was not very big. me at 5'10" was a giant compared to his 5'1". and he was "round" .. a polite way to say overweight. so he goes to the show. could have been me. the whole tragedy was caused by The Who's roadies doing a late sound check. the crowd milling about thought the show started early and rushed one of the side entrances and broke down the double doors.

then the crowd rushed in and stampeded into the arena. then the real tragedy happened. in that narrow side entrance the crowd got bunched up with people behind pushing forward causing people to stumble and fall.

my friend Paco was one of the people who rushed in thinking the show had begun. he eventually got knocked down and was getting trampled. then suddenly he got picked up along with some chick next to him and got carried out of the tunnel into the main arena. they made it out and then fell again. they got up to see this giant dude 6'5" about 270 wearing a Cincinnati Moeller letter jacket. he's the one who picked them both up off the floor and saved their lives.

he helped them up and asked if they were ok and they said "yeah, we're ok". then he said .. "ok cool".

and walked off into the arena. they never saw him again. all Paco can remember is that Cincinnati Moeller letter jacket.

the dude saved their lives and just walked away.

to this day the remaining members of the Who, Townsend and Daltrey are not only upset about the tragedy itself but this ...

"The Who were not told until after the show because civic authorities feared crowd problems if the concert were cancelled. The band were deeply shaken upon learning of it and requested that appropriate safety precautions be taken in the future.[227] The following evening, in Buffalo, New York, Daltrey told the crowd that the band had "lost a lot of family last night and this show's for them".[228]"

The Who would never have played that show money be damned if they knew what happened before the show.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDbAtWpoA6k

best Who song ever.
