How is maximizing profits "greed"? Why else do people go into business? Granted, it is illegal to hire illegal aliens, and work them cheap, but the government won't enforce the law. It's not greedy, it's good business until someone decides to enforce laws.

I see your point and your right to an extent in my opinion, a goal of business is to turn a profit or there's no point. No one can deny that greed doesn't exist in business whether it's big biz or small biz.

My ECCIE Reviews
Default nothing to do with my statement

That wasn't quote-worthy and you missed my point completely.

The max is topping out at probably 200 roses. A lot of competition. Especially since 08' when things started to spin out of control.

I tend to do that sometimes but I'll try to give a better response. If people don't want to work it's their choice and it's a nice choice to have if they have their money working hard for them, instead of them working hard for their money.

I think it is just a very small percentage that doesn't want to work, especially among the 50+ people there are too many people who apply for hundreds of jobs, just to find that age discrimination beets them time after time.
Job fairs where 80 employers show up and 5,000 job seekers, a new department store opening with 150 jobs available and 1200 people show up to apply, it happens every day and everywhere in the country.

a real picture during a typical day at the social security office in austin, tx.

able bodied people trying to claim disabilty coverage under social security...no wonder we are broke..no productivity, no taxes off their payroll and constant outflow

It appears that any "disabilities" amongst that crowd would not pertain to lack of eating.
