We would get together with other countries and put sanctions or something on China if they continue to allow disease to grow rampant.
When it becomes a humanitarian crisis, which eating sausage is not (retarded analogy), than I do believe other countries should get involved and put an end to it.

What %* of the U.S. population did "the virus" .... "wipe out"?
*Any figure that you post is not valid, if obtained from the media.
Here's a statement on what I consider to be a reliable website with respect to medical questions, but the Covid stats are based on raw reporting data without reliable confirmation of cause of death ....
Quote:
The novel coronavirus is now the third leading cause of death in the U.S. -- behind heart disease and cancer, but ahead of accidents, respiratory diseases, stroke, Alzheimer’s, and the flu, according to annualized federal health statistics.

https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/2021...-from-covid-19
May I repeat: "behind heart disease and cancer"! Using over-inflated stats!!!! Please don't be hysterical about the impact of Covid19. There have been contagious substances in the past that have wiped out vast number of people, and they didn't shut down the schools, businesses, and/or government functions, along with choking populations with oppressive rules and standards.
The politicians imposing all this bullshit on the population don't even buy into the dangers they try to sell ... why the fuck do you think they go maskless when they tell you to wear one, and then they tell you not to be with your family on traditional family gathering days ... and they say it's ok to have riots and marches in the streets rubbing shoulders with one another .... PLEASE!

Bro wtf are you going on about? I was saying that that research has the potential to wipe out the entire world. It shouldn't be allowed.
And instead of this catastrophe shedding light on this, it's putting a veil around it. And you're a conspiracy theorist, anti-science or racist if you want to stop this kind of shit.
Why isn't anyone standing up to China? We're just going to let them do whatever they want, even if it ends up destroying the world? Why do people like lapdog not care and prefer to be submissive? He equates creating a global pandemic and killing millions of people to eating a sausage. Is this guy serious?

For any of the poster's here using scientific terms; you should first understand that "the virus", or any virus, is not a CELL. It doesn't eat, it does not breathe, and is not considered to be a living organism. So, I question the basic knowledgebase of those who post otherwise and subsequent conclusions.
As far as origin of covid? One principle to understand is that Mother Nature is a bitch and natural mutation is possible. A foreign power "unleashed" it might also be possible, but even if proven by overwhelming scientific proof....what are we (the world) going to do? Sue China, nuke them? The US probably has (no proof, just opinion) similar skunkworks labs too.
It's here, it's real. It's up to the human world to deal with it as best we can...but remember that Mother Nature IS a bitch.

Nature will die like just as all physical life comes to an end. We're suppose to gain dominion over nature and our nature. That's why we're humans and not pangolins. Our lives are subject to moral law, both physically and spiritually.

The Course of nature never ends even after you're gone. Quit trying to act like you have deep thoughts, ok.

People like to blame China because they want someone to blame. That's why China doesn't want anyone in their backyard investigating this. Either it's a naturally occurring virus that mutated and spread from animals to humans, or it escaped from a lab, or it was weaponized. etc. etc. As far as the Chinese are concerned their going to get blamed no matter what happens by anyone who has an axe to grind. Like a number of people in this forum for example.

Good thing we have people like you ready to exonerate China no matter what.
Perhaps China doesn't want any body in their country investigating this because they have something to hide.
Maybe they are getting blamed because we have the indisputable evidence that no matter how this occurred, they tried to cover it up and didn't take measures like closing down air travel out of China while closing it down in China. No matter how this occurred, China gets a great deal of the blame.
I can't help but wonder what makes an other wise intelligent person want to be China's defender knowing everything we know about the CCP.
Is it hatred of this country or merely hatred of Republicans who are the loudest voices against China, a country engaged in genocide, the biggest oppressor of human rights in the world.

The reason Dems are making a stink about the Israelis killing Palestinians, but not about China killing the Ughyurs is because Israel isn't making their precious iphones.

Dude, if it came from a wet market in China, then China could have prevented it with basic fucking sanitation regulations or by banning the consumption of wild animals. If it was created in a lab, then that type of research should be banned. Otherwise, it's going to happen again.
Why do people not want to hold China responsible? I seriously don't get it. Having disgusting wet markets that breed disease or creating a viral weapon in a lab is not equivalent to eating sausages.
If it was created in a lab in Georgia or something, what would you say then? Would you say the United States should claim zero responsibility? Whoever is responsible for this, should be held accountable and regulations should be implemented so that it does not happen again. But I guess you'd rather keep a blind eye to it. Why?
Must be a lockdown lover.

Blaming China for the coronavirus is like blaming them for the seasonal flu, or blaming cattle ranchers for Mad Cow disease, or blaming the people of West Africa for Ebola.
The human condition is rife with disease and illness. Always has been and always will be. There is simply no way that humanity can for see all the ways in which disease or illness occurs.

None of those things had as much of an impact as corona virus. It's better to compare it to the Spanish flu. If there is a reason for the corona virus, other than unadulterated random mutation, than that reason should be investigated, taken seriously, and those responsible should be held accountable.
From what I understand, according to the original hypothesis, the conditions at the wet markets in China breed and spread disease. And those conditions somehow enabled the virus to spontaneously mutate. So, the Chinese should probably cut that wet market shit out. Imagine if this entire thing could have been avoided with basic food safety and sanitation regulations.

Anyone who's been in a Chinese restaurant, especially in the back of one, could tell you that.
Despite being a 2nd world country, the Chinese concept of "cleanliness" is nearly sub-3rd world.
