They got a check all right. Remember how the pharmaceutical companies waited until after the election to announce that they had vaccines. Why would they do that? Trump ordered enough doses for every American plus 20%. Something a good businessman would do. Okay, Biden wins (?) the election and he announces he is going to buy (with taxpayer money) 800 million more doses on top of what has already been ordered. There's your pay off.

But was it really that clear a calculation? As of July, many vaccines from other companies were in a similar development stage as Pfizer’s, which had already received the largest investment by the government for vaccine distribution and development. Other vaccines could have become available before then, and some—such as AstraZeneca’s—were projected to be much cheaper, and easier to distribute, said Moncef Slaoui, the official leading the White House’s Operation Warp Speed initiative, in justifying the decision. Did it really make sense to buy hundreds of millions more doses of a vaccine that might not prove effective?

From what I find, the government contracted to buy about $2B worth of their vaccine in July contingent upon the vaccine being granted emergency use authorization. Payment upon delivery as I understand, not in advance. No front money for R&D.

They were paid in July. It was approved for emergency use Dec 10,2020. Trump bought additional doses to total 600 million after that. They were paid for in advance. C ya.

Yes he did some financial work for Obama, like was anybody not going to save hundreds of thousands of auto workers jobs and bail out the auto industry. He was chairman of the Foreign Relations committee, a position you get on seniority. But all the foreign countries loved him as him and Obama continued to let the American Taxpayer pay the bulk of the cost of NATO, UN, the WHO, and promoted trade agreements that favored everyone but American workers.


But what really impresses me about Biden is the following (wikipedia) the general consensus is that Biden voted against killing Osama Bin Laden because he was afraid that if it failed Obama would not get re elected. That was more important to him than protecting AMERICA


"COME ON MAN"! BIDEN IS A LOSER he's proved it in his first 100 days and will continue.
Let's hope he completes his full term because you Biden lover's have put this country in serious jeopardy if that slut takes over

Actually Harris is running the Country. Biden is just a figure head an empty suit basically. Any controversy Biden will take the slack. The DNC and the Media will continue to berate Trump in order to prop up Biden. This administration will do nothing for the common folk. The best case scenario for this country's future is to impeach Biden get him out of office then investigate Harris for the slightest crime and arrest her on criminal charges. Since Congress doesn't generally do the right thing nothing will happen to Biden and Harris and the other high ranking Democrats will continue to control Biden and make sure nothing gets in their way.
