Well...all I was looking for was a massage.
I had recently moved to town and didn't know anyone. So I'm looking through the Chronicle and there are plenty of therapists to choose from. Some of them had pictures and were pretty attractive. I thought..."well hell, if you're getting a massage anyway, it might as well be from a good looking gal." I picked one out that was all save-the-earth/metaphysical/astrological/hippied-out. She seemed to be into the whole healthy lifestyle thing and had some pictures of her in a thong bikini to prove it. Nice figure I thought. So I made an appointment and unbeknownst to me, apparently there is such a thing as a tantric massage...
PS: I think me and Isis are different sides of the same coin in this respect...Once I found my happy medium with the hobby, my tolerance for putting up with what I perceive as BS in a relationship (or even finding a relationship) dropped tremendously. Maybe I am damaged goods now because I don't have the patience I once had. However, I do know that a real relationship can be by far more fulfilling than one that is measured by the hour could ever be. So I try to keep my mind open.
