So, if you're at dinner and not the boudoir, you have crossed into the real-life zone. If you want to experience the real world with a provider, be prepared for cell phones. If you were dating a civie and she used her phone, you might be so offended as to not see her again. Totally your choice, but just because you're buying the dinner/date you don't have the right to own another person, much less make a scene in public. These men should have quietly endured the slight and not called this girl again. If she wants to know why you "broke up" with her, explain.

I can't get over how some hobbyists think because they pay for our time they have the ultimate say in every aspect of the session.

It's an atmosphere and an encounter. We are a whole person, not just a hole.

You like milfs, we've got kids. You like hot young barely legal ladies, they've grown up with their eyes glued to a cell phone. Any way you slice it, your bound to catch a glimpse of a cell phone for at least a minute out of an hour session...even if it's just too watch her silence and set it aside after your arrival.

While I agree that it's prudent and I always silence my cell when we head back to play, I see no reason why it would blow the mood if I check my cell briefly while a gentleman is in my shower post BCD or if I take a brief call from my child while at dinner.

I remember raising children before cell phones. You gave the sitter the name and number of the restaurant you were going to in case of emergency. Then if anything crazy happened the waiter came and got you so you could take the call. IMO taking the call on a cell is way less obtrusive.

Not sure about the tantrum part, but I don't think it's out of line to expect her full attention on a date. Unless the call was a personal emergency nature, that's just bad business practice on the provider's part.
