Cheaper aside, I'm not trying to insult anyone on this posting. Earlier Elena said that she was uneducated in politics. Okay, that pretty much accounts for most people. Some statements were made and in manner of teaching I asked that she define what she meant. Sometimes you have to find why you think, not feel, the way you do and questioning accomplishes that. Try that with a child (no I'm not saying Elena is a child) sometime. They make an outrageous, insulting statement (my nephew once told me that he wanted to be a pimp when he was about 15 years old) and so you start tearing their beliefs apart by inserting a little truth in the cracks. I have run into a lot of people who believe like Elena does but they did not want to know a few facts that might shake they foundations. I know this is an extreme example but some people think black people are inferior in intelligence. I ask them why they think that.
Sarah Palin, whether you like her or not, has sustained herself throughout one of the worst media attacks in the history of politics in this country. Imagine that every time you said something about anything there people like Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and Rachel Maddow ready to tear you apart and call you stupid. I imagine Elena's first response would be to tell her to keep her mouth shut then. Ahhhh, there is that first amendment protection Elena that you were talking about. We all have a right to our opinion and a right to express ourselves but Palin has a problem. She can't say anything without an attack. I take it you were never bullied when you went to school. I was and I recognize the mechanics of being oppressed. Every time you raised your hand that idiot in the back had a smart ass remark at your expense. Eventually in became self sustaining without the asshole because the "normal" people would join in. Those normal people are you Elena. You've heard the crap so many times, without confirming it, that you now automatically do the job of the Matthews and Olbermanns. You've been conditioned.
You are right, I don't like Obama but I can give a couple dozen reasons on different topics why I don't like him and I don't mean reasons like I think he is stupid. I mean real reasons that don't make my trust him. Verified things in his past, his own words, the words of his closest advisers, and the things that he denies that he had any part of though we know he did. Did you know that he went to an American Socialist Party convention back in the eighties? His people deny it but his name is on the registration. So why did he deny it? I hope you understand what I mean.
Today I looked at the Drudge Report and saw all the news laid out in print; possible gas shortages, higher oil prices, the alliance against Libya falling apart, illegal aliens dressed as US marines, higher food prices, and Charlie Sheen might get a show on FOX... real depressing.

If you want to end this then, so be it.

Silly girl, this is the new politics happening around you. A long time ago (prior to 1900) a presidential candidate didn't campaign. Teddy Roosevelt changed that. Their people campaigned for them. Then a candidate had to be a populist. By the 1960s JFK showed that you needed to have a book out there (whether you wrote it or not) to demonstrate your ability with words. Today it is all about the media (TV, radio, Twitter, books still, and print journalism) Palin isn't the first but she has done the most as of now. The Obama Corps was all over the Internet during the election, Huckabee has his own show, the Clintons filmed a documentary about themselves in 1992 before they had even won the election (The War Room). The Obama's used the Internet to hurt people rather than just tell people about themselves. Jerome Corsi was on a Chicago radio station talking about Obama's lack of a birth certificate (the charges made by the Hillary supporters) and the call in switch board melted down from angry calls from all over the country. It seems the Obama campaign sent out a twitter and email to call the station. It was also found a woman had written a letter to an Oregon newspaper praising the healthcare plan, the same letter showed up in a New York paper, a Florida paper, a Texas paper, and even a Tokyo paper. The same name but a different address each time. It was traced back to the basement of the White House and its computer servers.
I know this sounds like it has become about Obama, but the charges you make against her could more easily apply to him. So is Barry "whoring"?

Don't put words in my mouth JG. I never said I was uneducated when it came to politics. I said I may not by as educated as some and in another post I said I need a tutor.

I'm far from being stupid when it comes to politics, but there's a reason why my daddy told me when I started dating to never discuss politics, money, sex or religion.....it causes friction.

You're the typical person who others dislike discussing politics with, you try to change their minds and force your beliefs on them. Of course this is only my opinion based upon your political posts.

Oh and deacon......all politicians whore themselves, its just not Palin. Its all of them. I just wish my job had the benefits of theirs...their health insurance and pensions after they retire.
