Well, that's some extra special beer-battered bullshit right there. I'll bet I have more education than most on here, and I went from liberal, before college, to conservative, during college, and ended up Libertarian during and after receiving post baccalaureate degrees. And I fought liberal professors the whole way. Academia is heavily liberal. If you spend time in college, and don't have any core values, you will end up liberal. Becoming liberal in college is a sign of weakness, not intelligence.

To put a point on it, every officer in the United States military has a degree and the vast majority are conservative. Many officers and senior noncoms have post graduate degrees and most of them are conservatives. How can this be?
